We had a great experience at The Water’s Edge! We ate at the bar section and had the pleasure of meeting Rob, the bar tender... there. He was amazing—he made excellent recommendations, was very friendly, and offered great opinions. The venison wasspectacular, as was the peanut butter old fashioned drink. The duck was very well prepared and the chocolate cake was decadent.We were very impressed and hope to make a return trip one day! Read more
Too often do you see places characterize themself as a “hidden gem”. This place truly is one, very glad I found it on open... table, as I’m afraid it may have gone unnoticed, but as a frequent Poconos visitor this place has shot up to the top of mylist. The food, ambiance, service, location, it’s all perfect. If you can get a window seat you’ll enjoy a group of passingducks to make sure you never feel alone in your dining. Read more
This place is the epitome of a hidden gem! They need to have arrows directing traffic to their place of business. I can tell... that the team at The Waters Edge love what they do. Everyone was professional, the food was delicious and the atmosphere wasfriendly and inviting. Everyone visiting the area or if you are a local like us- needs to stop in and support this place. If Icould summarize this in one word- PHENOMENAL! I hope they continue to have special events. While away for work I came across this restaurant. When I arrived I parked in their private lot. I walked in and was greeted.... The restaurant was super cute and had a lakeside view. I decided to sit at the bar and Rob was my bartender and he wasexcellent. I started with a lemon drop martini and at first it was sour but Rob made it better for me. I had the mussels forappetizers and they were so good. The flavor and the broth were so good. I then had the shrimp and gnocchi entrée and that wasjust ok. Great place for a nice dinner!! Was there on a friday night, was very enjoyable, not too many people or noise . Restaurant has... alot of parking. I went for dinner got an outdoor table. Nice view of the lake All the food was good. Tacos were tasty andsteak was made to perfection. Would definitely go back again. Staff was very friendly. Only con was the drinks were not thatgood. I just want to say that not only was the food phenomenal, the service from Erin and Rob was out of this world. They took such... care and paid attention to every detail. It was my one year anniversary, and my wife and I went back to Memorytown being that wenever got around to eating on our actual wedding day we wanted to come back to the place where it all began. Lori went out ofher way to come down and see us and made it so personal. We will definitely be back.
