We got married at Mount Shasta Resort in March, it was really the perfect venue for us. The thing we wanted most was a venue... with a view of Mount Shasta and the resort provided just that. Out of the venues we looked at it, it was the only one with aview worth mentioning. Rebecca, the coordinator was so helpful and went above and beyond our expectations. Her help andflexibility made the whole process so easy for us. The food was also amazing! We had the chicken, pesto pasta, and beet andgoat cheese on a crouton for the appetizer. One of our guests came up and told us it was the best food they had at the weddingand for us, that wasn't a huge concern, so we were really excited everyone enjoyed it. We were also able to bring our own wine,which was so helpful. Overall, this venue allowed me to have my dream wedding at much less than I expected. So happy we choseMount Shasta Resort, we'll definitely be staying again in the future! Read more
We held our wedding here and it was absolutely magical!! The cabins provided enough space for guests with a beautiful view of... the lake. We were within walking distance to walk down and swim with our downtime and you have a beautiful view of the mountainfrom the shore! We held a dinner at one of the beautiful picnic areas which were also easily accessible by the cabins. The venueitself was so crazy beautiful with the mountain in the background and the trees and ponds on the golf course. Rebecca, the venuecoordinator, was sooo helpful prior to the wedding and on the day of!! The rest of the staff also were so nice and helpedeverything run smoothly! And the food was so delicious!! Stayed for 2 nights during part of our honeymoon. Front desk was very nice and very helpful - they let us check in early which... was awesome. The chalet we stayed in was very clean. I will say the bed was a little uncomfortable (there were 2 divots on eachside from where people have slept which was not comfortable). The walls were well insulated, and even though there were 2 otherrooms in our chalet it felt private. We had a jetted tub in the room which was absolutely WONDERFUL - loved it, worth the extracharge if you like that sort of thing. We were also right on the lake which allowed us to go on walks around the water rightoutside our door. Read more
1. Liked the location and cabin like feel of the rooms. 2. We did have 2 spiders in bathroom area unfortunately. 3. TV size was... very small as compared to other hotel rooms I have been to in 2020 and 2021. 4. Reception service closes early during night.Have a prior communication with someone at reception if you know you would be at hotel late night for checking in. 5. Theirrestaurant offers 10% off if you are staying at their resort. I was extremely happy with food at restaurant. Black bean + farrowburger was very delicious. 6. Nestled in beauty, otherwise overrated. The hotel floors creaked, the beds did the same. I did appreciate the spaciousness of... the room. Nothing fancy or upgraded, simple room. No free breakfast, no pool, no fitness area, it's set up more like cabinswhich is nice. Looks neat from the outside. If you're a golfer you'll like it as they have a nice golf course with beautifultrees surrounded by the mountains. Very quiet and scenic location. Read more
We had a lovely stay in one of the little chalets with family from out of town. They were very spacious and warm. And everything... was ver comfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly. One of the best places we’ve ever stayed!!! Read more
