Wasn't thrilled that they changed the menu almost completely and that they took away the sweet onion sauce (they now mix it with... teriyaki ????) the staff? I'll give them a 3. What a terrific golf course! Tucked into the hills 3.5 miles from the city of Brookings, this gem of a course was so much fun to... golf. After reading several reviews in which other golfers reported the course was "challenging" or "extremely challenging", Ifelt a little intimidated. The drive to the course is lovely and the setting, with trees and water hazards, actually reminded meof our home course. Sure, those steep cart paths to some of the tee boxes can make a first time visitor take pause, but thecourse was a joy to play. As we stood on the first tee (I was hitting from the green tees) I made the decision to not try forany hero shots, but rather set up to get over whatever hazards we came across. Wayward balls can be easily lost forever here,especially on the back tees on 8 with that narrow chute. Also, they had just punched and sanded their greens a few days beforewe played, but they weren't bad. This course is definitely well maintained and it shows. We can't wait to play here again on ournext trip to the coast. Read more
Not that this means much - but this was the worst customer service I?ve ever had at a subway. A girl with pink hair made my... sandwiches and she was visibly agitated about having to make my sandwiches - especially when it came to ordering a meatballsandwich...maybe putting it in the oven was too much work? She proceeded to slop together my toppings and tossed my sandwichesaside while grumbling as if I did something wrong by coming in. The other two workers were pleasant - just not the one servingme. I hope this was just an off day and not a regular attitude for this individual. Read more
