We had a delightful ?real? experience dining here last night. Extra friendly attentive staff, but not too. Good home-cooked-feel... of a meal. Generously portioned, but not too. Ate outside at a picnic table. We left sated and smiling. Read more

The Drinks were delicious, Salads very tasty. Desserts were incredible. Was looking forward to the Chicken thigh Schnitzel... sandwich, it was hard to eat, over cooked and stringy...had to cut up the sandwich with a knife..very disappointed. In all, ThePines is a very cute amazing spot...just figure out your Schnitzel. Read more

This is a cute little place, but the food left a lot to be desired. We ordered 4 meals and only one of us enjoyed our food. We... ordered 2 of the falafel bowls, 1 burger with fries and a schnitzel sandwich with fries. The falafel bowls are almost alllettuce with a little bit of pickled onion, and maybe a half a handful (total) of tomato, cucumber, and red onion. It had a notso great sauce and it came with 2 little falafels. $20 each bowl. The schnitzel sandwich was raw on the inside. They brought meanother one pretty quickly, but unfortunately it had zero seasoning and was chewy. Honestly, I?m surprised they have close to a5 star rating. If you like flavorful food, I?d go elsewhere. Nice staff and a cute little place, but that?s all it has going forit. Read more

Wonderfully thought out and planned restaurant with great local food and drinks. Our food was fantastic, drinks were strong, and... service was good. You can tell a lot of locals come here, which is always a good sign. I'll definitely be back next time I'm inthe area. Read more

Very simple menu but items we got were delicious. Chicken schnitzel and falafel salad were both yummy.

Cute little restaurant and bar in Mt. Tremper, NY, just outside of Woodstock. Was the perfect place for New American style... comfort food and a well-curated list of drinks, with friends. We had a party of ~15 who were all visiting the area together, andwanted a place with outdoor seating, spur of the moment. One of our party called in on the same day, and we were all able to getshaded picnic bench seating outside. Our server Nikki was on the ball and very accommodating - some of us returned the followingevening for Round 2! Read more
