Hardee's burgers comes with a limp wilted piece of green leaf that has no texture fiber or nutritional value which they call... lettuce. I have tried time and time again to substitute shredded lettuce for the green slimy leaf. They failed each time. Todaywhen I asked for shredded lettuce the manager taking my order told me "But that's how all our lettuce comes". Flabbergasted byher response, I had to explain to her that all the items on her Red burrito menu featured shredded lettuce. She looked at melike she was completely confused by what I said. So I reminded her again, and she said okay. But I received another two burgersthat had a flat piece of slimy green leaf on it. The prior three times I have reminded the cashier, and each time they did awonderful job of following up and confirming with the kitchen staff that I was getting shredded lettuce. But each time they werelied to by their fellow employees because I still received a slimy Green leaf. When you have to explain to the manager of arestaurant what is on their menu and how the items are made you have to question everything. Training, hiring practices,assembly methods, and unfortunately the safety the food you're receiving. If someone chosen and promoted by Hardee's to manage arestaurant doesn't even know their own menu, I doubt they have the understanding and competence provide true food safety. Andwhen the person who makes your food lies to a fellow employee about what it's on an item not only do they consciously decide tomake that person deal with the consequences of their actions, they place the lives of every customer with food allergies indanger by being so careless and then lying about it. I understand the need for a living wage. And I understand that the amountof money made by food corporations compared to the amount of money paid to their employees is shameful. After driving 700 miles I was instructed to pull forward even though nobody else was there. 10 min later backed up to the window... so they could give me hot fries to go with my already ice cold burgers. Visited this morning left and had to circle back for a second frisco sandwich as it was stale and cold. The exact reason I... stopped goint to the store on the other side of town. The young lady working was very short about the whole experience. Couldntapologize or even make eye contact...simply handed me my bag and closed the window. Had a fresh sandwich but didnt improve thesituation much as the hash rounds were also cold. This franchise needs attention in the freshness and politeness categories. Read more
