One star is gracious! Dirty restrooms. Only two people working doing everything. Nice enough guys. Fries were barely cooked. One... fry was supposed to be onion rings. Both hamburgers we ordered were wrong. Like not even close. The buns were cold and theoverall taste was just not right. I give this place another 2 months before it is closed. Read more

Walked in...very dirty. Approached counter only 2 people working in the whole restaurant. Both swamped. She called out to me... I'd have a wait until she could take my order. She was talking to drive thru customers while frying burgers. We left. Thislocation can't remain open with no staff. Read more
Wasn?t worth the stop. Ordered cheeseburger, fries, and cup of chili ? fries were lukewarm and nothing like I remember,... crackers for chili were very stale, and the service was pretty much nil. VERY RUDE SERVICE. The guy that took our order was rude, pushy and short. His attitude was horrible. When we pulled up to the... window he was cussing at someone. We asked if we could complain to the manager and HE is the manager. Absolutely ridiculous,we'll never eat there again. I feel sorry for the workers who have to deal with him. Read more
Normally like steak n shake. But this one was very rude. I had to wait, which is fine. But I don't even think the shook the... basket of fries. My food and bag is smothered in grease. I even took the extra time to write this review which I never do. Hirepeople who don't look like that hate their lives. Now I'm getting back on the road. Read more
Shake barely filled up. Ordered a double garlic burger. Patties are very small. For $12. Very disappointing. Do better.
You just can't beat Steak 'n Shake for the the BEST shakes anywhere!! And the burgers are wonderful! Only problem with Mt.... Vernon SNS is parking lot condition ???? it's kind of rough in alot of spots so be careful. But...If you're hungry and see aSteak 'n Shake sign, GO! GO! GO! You won't be disappointed! ????????
