I was going to leave a 4 star review, however I will never come back again. I fueled up 220 plus gallons, went in for a shower,... this is why only 4 was because place is old and in need of a makeover. The lady at the store was very nice. I went to drive awayand forgot to buy cigarettes. I parked around back. The mechanic came looking for me immediately and asked me to pull forwardbecause I was blocking the truck bay. My bad, I did not see that. Bought my smokes and immediately moved. Went around andstopped out of everyone's way. No one around by shed. I was signing into my ap for my log book so I could leave and I'm tellingya, and speaking of needing a makeover, a girl with glasses came up in 90 seconds and said I can't park there. I told her I wasleaving and setting up my log book. She said doesn't matter what I'm doing I can't park there. I slammed my door and left. WorstTA by far!! I?ve waited to see if TA Travel Center customer care office was gonna call me back. It?s been a week and at this point, I?m... about burned out! Guess I should?ve never expected them to contact me about an issue this small any how! Well it?s my money andI expect to get treated fair any and everywhere I go! Especially regarding trucking. But anyway, I had to go back to Iowa80truck stop where I purchased my light to get another one. This time I decided to go somewhere different to get my lightsinstalled. So I took a trip out west to Salt Lake City, Utah! I did a 34 hr-reset at the flying j off exit 17. I ran into a guywho has his own business next to the flying j. His name is Shawn Gilbert(Uinta Diesel) TA in Mt. Vernon, Missouri charged me alittle over $200 to install my fogs lights. Their installment resulted in me losing my passenger-side fog light due to poor workperformance! No lock nuts were installed on the backside of my bolts when they installed my fog lights. However, Shawn chargedme $40 to install my lights correctly and he also made sure my electricals were ran right! When you?re ever in the Utah arealook him up! I left a pic of his card below! Just witnessed one of the store's long time cashiers named Mary (an older woman) harass a kind patient traveler for buying... cigarettes, and yell at me for no reason other than me walking up the register while startling a pregnant woman standing by allwithin 1 minute. I'd say this company needs to fire her find someone more fitting and capable for the job, but she's honestlyone of the perfect representations of what this company and the Wilmoth family is, crusty old creeps that establish a toxicenvironment wherever they go. I worked there for a short amount of time but I picked up quickly with how my boss Shannon triedto pry and stalk me over my personal life and issues I had going on that was none of her business, I could work circles aroundShannon and the other janitors besides Bernie, (who is an awesome worker and deserves the manager position more than her, hetaught me everything I knew there.) Mary doesn't do anything besides harass customers and sometimes even refuses to servepeople if it's inconvenient for her. I understand everyone has bad days but Mary and the crew drain the life to the store andif you watch her deal with the customers for at least 10 minutes, you'd see exactly what I'm talking about. Customers do notlike her and when she interacts with them they like her even less after having to deal with It doesn't matter though, I'm justhelping any curious fellow travelers/truckers understand why they would rather go the next town over because this truck stop isa pigsty circus full of disgusting people. Definitely not a place to write home about. Restroom in both the store and gas station are not very big and are not maintained.... The fuel island needs updated severally. It used to be a very good place but have turned into a hole in the wall place at best.The subway restaurant is nice and updated but the rest is just.....well bad Read more

A few days ago I was there to refuel . An old man with long hair who clean trash had a really bad attitude when talking to... people. I bought a reserved parking and i was stay in my truck. He came over here told me to pay with disdainful tone. I said Ihad already paid. He still stared at me and asked me to pay. He didn't show me any politeness and apology.His attitude wasextremely bad. They are lames who ever is running the truck shop doesn't know how to run a shop I have been here going on 5 hours? For 3... trailer brakes and 2 tires now they tell me to change the slack adjusters asked them to fix it and they go to work on other jobsand I was here first this morning But wait after I checked in they wanted to do a DOT inspection for another driverfirst Anyway. $1700.00 later I'm still waiting for them to work on my trailer Don't even think about coming here for work I evengave the mechanic a $30 tip first wish I kept it. Yikes. This place has no snacks, just the subway. It smells really odd. There's very little parking for regular vehicles. The... restroom is VERY non-accessible for handicapped patrons, then the clerk disappeared. Found her and some other employee smokingimmediately outside the main door, which caused me to have a coughing fit. My shoes stuck to the floor. This place is justdisgusting. Read more
