Good food. Horrible delivery. Drivers need better training. 30 minutes for in town delivery AFTER the order left the... location. Driver said he had a delivery 8 minutes away that delayed him. Mazzios doesn't deliver that far out. Order carryoutor not at all. Read more
The experience was only slightly ruined when my Nissan Stanza was struck by an old pad lock thrown by a small, dirty child who... quickly apologized and explained that we had inadvertently driven through a "Lawrence County snowball fight" that happened to betaking place behind the restaurant. Thankfully, I keep a pillow case full of old combination locks in my trunk, so my family andI were able to join in on the fun, turning a possibly tense situation into the highlight of our day ???? The pizza was great. We ordered and had it out to us quickly.
While passing through, our car broke down. The folks at Mazzio's let us stay in the cool AC while our car was being repaired.... The food was good, the staff was beyond friendly, and the establishment was clean. I highly recommend making a trip to Mazzio'sin Mt. Vernon. Read more
Dang they got rid of their lunch buffet coupon. The staff is very friendly and will take requests for buffet pizza. They did a... good job of keeping the pizzas coming and the salad bar had a decent selection. I did notice that beets were missing off thesalad bar and I hope they bring that back again. Definitely a good place for a quick lunch as there aren't many options in MountVernon. Read more
Honestly I was visiting family from out of state in town and we all wanted Mexican. But it was a Sunday and options minimal.... I've had Mazzio's before but it was a long time ago and nothing stood out then. I wouldn't hesitate to go back to this placeevery single day of my life for the very least of salad bar and whenever I was craving pizza that's all everything was so freshgreat service even though insanely busy! My husband and I got there after the lunch buffet today. We were the only customers in the building. We looked all over for a... clean table, there were none. My husband went up and asked the girl at the counter if she could clean one for us (they all hadcrumbs, pieces of shredded cheese from the salad bar, water rings from drink cups, etc) and she did. But she only wiped outtable then went back behind the counter. We almost left, but decided to give it a try because the Salad Bar looked very good!It was. It was well stocked, everything looked fresh, and it was clean. The pizza was okay, but for over $30 for a medium pizzaand 2 Salad Bars with water, I would have thought the quality could have been some better. Maybe we just got them on an offday? It happens! Order the hog heaven deep dish with extra cheese to dine in and it came out from kitchen being all crust with barley any topping... and little cheese. When I brought the manager out he blame corporate for jacking the price up and reducing amount of topping.
