Bad attitude: manager! This location has gone downhill over the past year in a big way. Me and friends got our orders and we... both had to pick slimy lettuce & chicken out of our salads and throw them away. One of my friends sub was cold with hard cheeseand all of this arrived after an hour. When I called to ask where our order was it came even later by 30 minutes. Last time weordered bread sticks and they had raw dough on top. When we called to complain the manager gave us an attitude as if we weremaking it up. This is my last order placed here. No one wants old food that's cold & late, or undercooked. Its unsafe. Read more
Call in to order food customer service call center dont care if you order or not. Then you call the actual store talk to... management things gos alot better. This change is not good for service ???? Read more
I love absolutely love Donatos Pizza, but after several visits the Mount Vernon, OH store is terrible. Regardless of the staff... shortages, the process of picking up a pizza in this particular store is a complete mess. I prepaid for a pizza and then waited30 minutes in line while others were placing and paying for orders. The past 3 times my pizza was cold and not good at all. Iguess I?ll get my Donatos fix when traveling to Columbus or Akron, but can?t do Mount Vernon again. Read more
Ordering sight very messed up- had an awful time trying to order on line. They use a call centers rather talking to the actual... store. We paid by credit card and when pizzas arrived delivery guy said they weren't paid for and tried to collect again. Wecalled shop and they verified we had paid. Pizzas were not very good. Crust was half raw and tasted like biscuit dough. Totallydisappointed! I would suggest Little Ceasars over this pizza! You asked so I shared! Read more
Ordered the meatball shareable and got a side of breadsticks. I don?t know how the meatballs are shareable the container they... come in is 3? x 4? says it will feed 3 to 4 definitely not 3 to 4 adults. The pure leaf iced tea was expired wonder what else isexpired there? Read more
We order from here frequently, and the food is always good and the staff is usually very friendly. The unfortunate thing is that... they are always extremely slow. Every time we order it takes at least 45 longer than they say it will. It seems like they arealways understaffed. There were also several other people there waiting just as long as us or longer. This has been a consistentthing each year so I am not sure what needs to change. Read more
Great, been there one time and it was very good. Not much business, which I really do not understand. They have good pizza,... great location, plenty of parking easy in & out, it's clean with plenty of space inside for pizza parties and timing the wasreasonable for fresh made. While I was there they had quite a few carry outs, plus they deliver, so maybe that is why no one wasdining inside the store. I love that they have outside eating as well but haven't seen that being utilized as it is right on amain street in town, lots of traffic at a pretty fairly constant stream. Who wants exhaust fumes with their meal? Of course weare pretty much a smallish farming town with ten pizza stores (that I can think of off the top of my head) to its name.Competition for pizza is pretty stiff. I liked that the menu was big enough to make me really have to sit and think about what Iwanted. The pricing is good, too, as I'm fairly frugal. I've no aversions to getting up and leaving if the cost is out of mycomfort zone. It's a thin crust pizza store, so you don't get full of the bready crust. Thin crust is usually pretty easy toburn as you're baking the other ingredients. My partner and I got personal size pizzas and they were both done to absoluteperfection. Nothing undercooked nor burnt. The service was good at the counter, at no time was I left just standing there.Although not effusive, I got smiles and total cooperation.
