Business needs to close and clean!!!! Saw 2 roaches on the floor under our table. I opened my napkin for the fork/knife and... they both had dried food on them. Our food was being brought to us at this time and we had to let the manager know we could noteat there. The food was really good there about a year ago (that was last time we had eaten there). I would have given 4 stars if the service had not been so slow. We stopped in on a Sunday evening to eat after the place we... bought was open in Mount Vernon had closed early. Food was good and we love a place that serves breakfast all day. However, itappeared there were 2 people running the whole place and they had trouble keeping up. We will go again and hope for a fasterexperience next time. They also were out of many menu items. Read more
This is my coffee stop after a good morning at the gym. 2 eggs and a side of sliced tomatoes to refuel with coffee and water.... They, like most places are short staffed but still manage to keep the liquid flowing and food served in a timely manner. 24 June2022 Update. Cheese steak omelette with a side of tomatoes today. Finally tried the Ol Fashioned Diner called the Huddle House. As always the negative first, it was quite dirty and service was... very slow, like, we were there for an hour and a half(they did have signs saying they were short staffed and I understand that)We went at 11am, only about 5 seated tables, so don't really know what took so long, but we were patient. The food was great!Prices were excellent for the amount of food you got. In these absurd times i'd love to go back if things ever get back tonormal. My wife ordered the ranch, for 12$ you get a ton of food main dish is country fried steak. I ordered the patty melt w/fries, okra, and mac N cheese, was very good for 12$! Read more
This was a very nice experience sitting down with the family. The waitress was hilarious an very friendly an informative of... what to eat verses what not to eat.. I truly wish that there were more places still like this for the families to enjoy. Reallynicely priced, lots of food to fill up an very tasty as well. Food and service was amazing at the Huddle House. Me and my wife had breakfast and the pancakes were huge and delicious. The... veggie omelet was amazing. Hot, delicious, and made from scratch. We will be back when we're in town again. Read more
