The Belgian waffle, bananas foster, and cinnamon apple pull-aparts were all tasty, and we had a nice chat with the owners while... we waited for our order. We were a little hesitant to enter at first because the storefront and TV programming seemed ultraconservative, but the owners were very welcoming and the menu looked appealing. On top of that, we left with a framed, signedMets jersey in addition to our breakfast! The decor actually comprises a large assortment of interesting items for sale. We stopped in for a quick bite while on the road back to Denver. We were met with a smile and incredible customer service. The... food was amazing, but the cole slaw and potato salad in my opinion could win awards..truly memorable. We'll be back anytime wedrive through the area again!! The longer you sit the more you notice! This place is a little piece of history that also happens to serve some amazing Italian... creme sodas and the best soup I've had in a long time. Seriously, try their homemade tomato basil, you won't bedisappointed! The owners, Jeff and Le-Ann are kindhearted, wholesome folks who want to make sure you enjoy your meal and arehappy to disband chat with you. We hadn?t been to Mountain Home very often in the past few years and we were looking for a place for breakfast and came across... this place. It looks like it?s been around for a long time but it?s only been there about six years. It has a cute country feelalmost like being in a vintage store. The food was amazing & everything was homemade, you could tell! We both ordered Panini?s,which were very good and they came with the items in the photo, which is a homemade mac & cheese and tomato basil soup of theday. Great little find in Mountain Home, Idaho. We stopped in near closing for a late lunch while traveling,so glad we did. Owned... by a husband and wife team, the husband was our greeter and server. My husband ordered the Chicken Salad sandwich, ate it soquickly I only have a half photo of the food. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Alfredo Panini. We chose Creamy Tomato Soup andChicken & Dumplings. Such a wonderful find! The food was so good we drove through and stopped in one day and came back again the next to try more... menu items as well as talk to the lovely couple that owns the restaurant. We had the Biscuits and Gravy, pastrami sandwich,turkey sandwich and salad.....oh yes and an Apple Barrel desert....AMAZING! The food was fresh and yummy...give it a try! Read more
