I decided to try this place because of the reviews, and I am so glad that I decided to come here. This is not the first time;... I've been here a few times, driving from Boise. This time I get Menudo, and their Menudo is very good. You have a choice to addhominy or not, and the hominy also cooked well, not over or under done. One either likes Menudo or 'don't put that on my menu'.And I am glad I had their Menudo, yummy ???????? Read more

Loved it. The starting chips are exactly what I was looking for, seasoned perfectly and crispy thin. Absolutely perfect. The... meal was excellent ????. This is a new fav. Friendly atmosphere, wonderful food. Read more

The last time I went here it wasn't busy, and the of us had to wait 20 minutes just to order food. They came back multiple times... at about 15 minutes difference each time to tell us they didn't have what we ordered. I finally changed my order completely justto receive the wrong protein on my order. Multiple friends have also gotten food poisoning from them. It's a shame because Ipreviously enjoyed their food, but after all that I will never go back. Read more

We have always loved Los Pinos, but just had a really bad experience. The waitress was friendly but incredibly slow. Our food... took forever. Some of us got our food, but by the time the rest were served we were already finished. The chips were stale, thetamales were crumbly dry, and the carne asada seemed overcooked and fatty. Such a bummer. We normally love this place. Read more

So so good! I’ve had my share of Mexican food and it’s usually hard to find real authentic Mexican food, but this place is... great! I got the carnitas smothered burrito and it was great! Definitely recommend and the red salsa is my favorite! Read more

Surprised to see chicharrones tacos on the menu. Then, I was really impressed with them. All tacos were on a single tortilla,... but the tortilla was good, it had spent a little time in the grill. The chicharrones was way meatier/leaner and not as juicy asothers I have had, but super tasty. The carnitas was good, the chorizo was spicier than others and also very good. Lastly, thelengua (not pictured) was super lean hearty. I really liked how each carne was prepared, nothing was dry, the flavors of themarinades and the meat were all present. Unfortunately, the salsa verde was lacking, but a side of jalapeños made up for thateasily. Favorite tacos in Mountain Home. Read more

Our family of 5 plus one grandparent went on a Sunday for lunch. It was our first time here. The staff was very nice. The food... was delicious! Some of the best in Mountain Home. They do offer military discount. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality. Read more
