I'm blown away that this is here. Was traveling for work and came here twice, on purpose mind you. Food is the best thing I've... ever had. Menu has a great selection, soups, salads, sandwiches and leave room for dessert, The Best Cookies in the universe.Great flavors, great staff. First we came after lunch and it was quiet but second time was right at lunch time but they stillhad plenty of room to have a seat and enjoy your meal. Read more

Ate here twice while working in the Wilkes-Barre/Mountain Top area and really enjoyed it! My favorites were the caprese sandwich... and the cauliflower and cheese soup. Highly recommended for soups, sandwiches and salads. Read more

Love this place! Only critisicm I would give 8s they always prepare the hot food and have it sitting while they wait to stir... your salad and plate it. Therefore hot food isn't so hot. Other then that delish Read more

There isn't much to choose from in this town, so thank God for L&L. We visit once a year and this is always our place of choice.... Fresh ingredients, deliciously cooked, friendly & polite staff, reasonable prices, clean restaurant. Read more

I am used to Red Leaf (also a BYO salad place) and I can tell you I prefer that over Leaf and Ladle any day. I got an orient... salad, I can tell that NONE of the ingredients were fresh. The cucumbers AND lettuce were brown; the edamame was soggy and had abad taste. Not to mention that it took them 5 minutes of me waiting at the counter for someone to even acknowledge me, eventhough they had no other waiting customers. There were workers in the front who saw I was there and didn't come over, insteadthey yelled for someone in the back to come wait on me. It took them 15 minutes to make my to-go salad. 15 MINUTES. It wasbarely mixed and super expensive; it was $10.17 for a salad. I will say its a decent size, however at Red Leaf you get fasterservice, fresher produce, more salad, for less money. I shouldn't have to check my salad for rotten lettuce before I eat it. Notworth the time or money to go here in my opinion. If you do go, maybe try the soup instead. Read more
