After passing this place many times, I decided to try it out. This place is good for those trying out biryani for the first time... and want mild spice. We tried Goat Fry Biryani and Lamb Korma. All had good flavor but I think I have been spoiled with muchmore intense spices at other places. Mountain View seems to have a few biryani places but Sunnyvale still is at the top of mylist to get Indian food. Read more

Had a hearty, warm and decently yummy meal! The restaurant is quite small with only 4 tables. It seems like so long as they're... not backed up on online orders, the service is quite fast. The server is a bit shy, but was helpful during my visit. Got one ofthe goat biryanis and it was quite good. This is possibly one of the most subtle Indian restaurants I've been to (in terms offlavour). The spices they use aren't very in-your-face, but definitely made an impact. Portion size was also perfect. Was quitecontent with my visit here! Read more

We ordered online and pick up was ready as we arrived. Food is okay but nothing special. The chicken tandoori was exceptionally... dry and lacked in taste compared to other Indian restaurants. The same goes for the goat sukha. Anyone trying Indian food butdoesn't like strong spices especially hot, may try this place. The biryani is just meat curry and spiced-rice on top, but tastesgood too once mixed together. The place was busy when we arrived. Read more

This was my first time visiting this establishment. We ate outside, which does have a pretty exposed feel as you're right by the... parking lot. The food was very solid, and the waiter did between mild and medium spice for our biryani, which we appreciated. The naan was a little thicker, which tasted good. Read more

Great place for takeout. We ordered special chicken mughlai biryani and methi Chatman paneer. They were both really good. The... mughlai biryani was creamy and packed with flavor- not that spicy. And the methi Chaman paneer was really good as well!Definitely a place will go order in from again. Read more

Unique style of Hyderabadi food, which I enjoyed trying. The mughlai biryani came topped with a thick sauce and bite sized... pieces of chicken. Also had a whole boiled egg and onions. On the side, it had saalan and yogurt. Pretty different from all theHyderabadi style biryanis I’ve had so far. The lamb pasanda had a tangy creamy sauce - almost like a butter chicken sauce.Decent stuff. The bullet naan was my fav - fiery buttery naan which got its bite from the jalapeño and a nice coolness due tothe cilantro. The regular naan was ok. Portion sizes were moderate. All the meat is halal - the restaurant informed usverbally. Read more

Updated review dated Jan, 2022: I have been requesting less oily, medium spiced Biryanis every two weeks, and the staff has... always supported my customization requests. My family's personal recommendations are: - Mughlai chicken biryani - Vegetarianbiryani -------------------------------------------------;;;; Tried three different Biryanis - egg, vegetarian, and chickenand might order again. The biryanis are flavorful, but high in salt and fat. The kitchen does not know how to customize orders, and the customer service does not know how to set customer expectations. My request for less salt in biryani was addressed by ahugh reduction in the vegetables and chicken and so ended up getting pretty expensive rice the second time we ordered. Mysuggestion would be to not request for customizations, and pair their food with some healthy options to make a meal. Read more

The place where I ate one of the best Indian food in my life and definitely the best in Bay Area! Despite all that simplicity of... interior and presentation I want to come back there to try different meals again and again. My favorite is goat biryani which isso delicious but also so big that i never can finish it by myself. Curry, palak paneer, naan everything is so flavorful andauthentic that you really want to hug all people who made that food for you (: Hope one day I’ll be able we to try theirdesserts at last!
