The food was so delicious I came here twice in one day. Lunch: I ordered the vegetarian Stuffed Eggplant (includes rice, salad,... and pita bread) and my friend ordered the Moussaka. Dinner: I ordered the vegetarian Moussaka (includes rice, salas, and pitabread) and my friend ordered the Lahmacun. Everything was cooked to perfection..I highly recommend trying this place out. It is a newly opened, very clean, cozy and beautiful halal turkish restaurant. There are enough places to eat both outside and... inside. It is in a very lively and beautiful location. We went for dinner. We tried the meatballs, salad, pita and lahmacunwith my friends. All of them were unbelievably delicious. Also staffs are very kind and friendly. I highly recommend. Read more

This is the 3rd location from this San Mateo-based Mediterranean restaurant replacing an older venue of the same cuisine. It's... a solid set of options for a relatively good value. The wraps are compact and tasty, and the chili sauce is pretty accessibleeven for less spicy palates. Greek fries might look sparse on toppings at first, but there's plenty of curds and cheesedistributed within the fries rather than over on top. Probably a concern is, with how close Oren's Hummus is, would this spotdifferentiate itself enough in its offerings? I think it certainly does. The gyro selection speak for themselves, and thefalafel has a nice set of spices inside that give a pleasantly mildly stronger bit of flavor. Paying upfront is a niceconvenience, and the food seems well suited for takeout or meal delivery, especially in value. Modern Mediterranean restaurant with spacious indoor plus outdoor seating serves up delicious, flavorful meals. Ordered the... chicken gyros plate which was well executed. This review is solely for their Turkish breakfast. If you have not tried Turkish breakfast yet in your life, this is your call.... They just started offering it during weekends. This breakfast is one of the most authentic ones you can currently get in BayArea. The selection of cheeses, the small sides and overall the quality and freshness of ingredients were worth a praise. Theboreks were freshly baked/fried and well balanced. The complementary Turkish tea you get with the breakfast was an additionalnice touch. The menemen (scrambled eggs with tomatoes) was freshly made. The only improvement could be providing fresh loafstyle bread instead of pita. Read more
