Delicious food. Great service. Plenty of tables. Prime location. It's always a challenge to find a restaurant that has enough... large tables to accommodate for a large group of us on a Sunday evening. When we came here, the owner was so nice and let usmove tables together and best party is the kids can be outside and fidget around without disturbing our patrons. Now it's ourfavorite place to eat for Sunday dinners. Their portions are large and generous. Every dish I've tried has been great. Combokebab plate is my favorite! We always find parking nearby since it's further down from the busy post of Castro. I highlyrecommend this restaurant for casual dining, authentic food and friendly service! *And yes, we move the tables and chsues backafter we are done :) Read more
Not my preferred style of falafel wrap. Too much lettuce and not enough falafel. Also, would be much better with more fresh... vegetables inside- the iceberg lettuce feels like an uninvited guest. Read more
Fantastic food! In my 30 years in this area, I think this is the best of all Mediterranean restaurants as far as how yummy the... food goes. They have the best hummus, the best baba ganoush, the best hummus, the best to tabouli, the best cucumber and tomatosalad, the best dolmas, the best yogurt dll cucumber salad, good tahini and good pita bread to eat with it all. I've nevertried the falafel balls, but I bet they're great too. As far as dessert goes, the halva and baklava they sell here is alsowonderful (from a supplier). The place is quite sparse so I wouldn't come here for date night. Read more
Quick service, great place to sit. Very simple menu- I love it! They have soup, thank you very much! My falafel was tasty and... not dry. My only minor complaint was tortilla wrap for a falafel sandwich? Why? I was expecting a pitta wrap. I just opened itup and ate inside. Tortilla doesn?t go with falafel. Read more
The manager Musa made sure we got our food promptly and accidentally. The naan is probably the best part of the meal here and... don't forget the lamb/chicken combo plate with maybe an extra skewer of lamb. I understand this place is halal from its reviews. The hummus was good and so were the sauces on the side. Really liked the... chicken platter with veggies and rice and warm pita. Everything was well spiced and cooked to perfection. The chicken pieceswere shredded. The lamb and beef shawarma was missing enough meat and had too much sauce inside which made it break quiteeasily. Also wonder why they used a thin wrap instead of the pita. An overall decent place if you?re in the mood forMediterranean. Read more
