The food and cocktails were pretty good though on the pricey side, probably due to the location which is prime. Coming from... Texas, I have high standards for BBQ. I'd go here again for apps and drinks, but probably wouldn't pay the premium for thedinner plate. The outside space is fantastic with all the downtown activity right around you. Read more

Decent bbq, amazing selection of beer and bourbon. Unfortunately staff was not knowledgeable about the bourbon at all.

The sandwich is tiny for $18.00. It was supposed to come with pickles. I asked for pickles for all three of us. They brought out... three little bowls of pickles and then had the nerve to say they were going to charge each of us $3 .50 but the waiter took offtwo of the three charges for pickles. The mac and cheese was dry and horrible. Beans meh.... Even the margaritas did not tasteright. Definitely wouldn't recommend! Read more

Really good bbq place! Brisket is really good. Cornbread is not dry too. Mac n cheese is amazing, and super comforting. Cuts of... meat are great too. Sandwiches are pretty good. And reasonably priced. Local favorite! Read more

Brisket was really dry, as if the sauce was there to help you swallow and not to enhance the taste. I wondered if I ordered beef... jerky for little while. Bread is really cheap and tasteless. Not a fan of the few cold veggies on the side as well. No surpriseit is served in less than 5 minutes. Wouldn't recommend unless in a hurry. I was, so in a sense, it was good for that. Read more

First time visiting this restaurant on Sunday. Happy hour until 6, and the place was not busy at all (the whole downtown was... dead that afternoon). I had read the menu ahead of time and was looking forward to some items! We started with the Pork BellyBurnt Ends and the Bacon Explosion. Both were excellent, but the burnt ends just won us over a tad more. For main course we hadthe Prime Brisket and the baby back ribs. I enjoyed the ribs while my co-eater enjoyed the brisket. We both tried the 2 versionsof mac n cheese, and it was great as well! I have to say that the BBQ sauce and rubs are a bit more savory for my taste. I woulddefinitely go back and try something different. All in all a good visit. Very friendly and FAST service. Oh, and I wanted tomention they had clean af restrooms too. I don't say that often but it's a small detail I appreciated. Read more

Fancied some BBQ and this place didn't disappoint. Stuffed jalapenos wrapped in bacon to start were very tasty. For main I... ordered the brisket (as a plate) with beans as a side. The knife was completely superfluous to my needs. The brisket was easilycut with the fork. Nice delicate smokiness. Fat rendered beautifully. Because I'm greedy I also went for the bourbon and mapleflan with candied bacon. Wasn't a big fan of the bacon but the flan was fine. Everything washed down with a couple of points ofhefeweizen. Great experience. If I have time I'll definitely go back. Read more
