Only go to sit on lawn & eat salad or fish & chips. Order a 3rd piece if sharing..add lemon & lots of vinegar. Peas come w/it.... Then drive or walk down to Muir Beach...nicest in late afternoon..watch sunset & close eyes to hear waves. Dogs love, but watchout for rangers! Read more
Quintessential English Pub. Only open at 12pm despite the listing info. Enjoyed the air-conditioned light and airy sun... room. Menu contains all the UK favourites. We tried the Pasties and English Dip Sandwich - both were delicious and fun toshare. Read more
Like it a lot. Very authentic place with really good food, lots of beers. Option to eat inside and outside. Strongly recommend.... We had shepherd pie, beef wellington, liver and onion, and powerhouse steak. We shared all and all was the best. Read more
This is a beautiful English style Inn near Muir Beach with hundreds of years old floors, brick fireplaces, tables etc. While the... inn is only 46 years old it has been meticulously recreated to provide that English pub and inn feeling by using authentic brickand wood beams throughout the inn that are 100-300 years old. For what it is, where it is this is 5 stars. No cell service. Qaint and idyllic little pub and inn. Love the interior. Darts!... Decent beer selection surprisingly, small selection but good choices. Classic Irish dishes for food. They're better thanexpected. Read more
Lovely small English Cottage restaurant. Eat in typically warn subdued rooms, on the sunny patio, or on the lawn. Right next... to Muir Beach and only a few miles from Muir Woods. The menu is a little short on variety, but the food good. Read more
Stayed at the inn and ate dinner and breakfast there. Pros are the environment is exactly as disheveled as you'd want an... English beach pub to be. The ambiance is great. Food and drink selection are great too. Being so close to the beach andgetting a private parking spot if you stay the night is really nice. Room was nice and getting a special hangout with the otherroom hotel guests was very fun. Cons are they need more employees I'd guess but the servers that are there are great. Thelocation drives up the prices. And we did not get the full English breakfast that was advertised. Read more
