My husband and I have been eating at Leal's since 1981 but we haven't been to the Leal's in Muleshoe in 9 years bc we moved to... central Texas ... so very disappointed bc they changed the Bryant Special and it was awful... the food was mediocre and once ourserver brought our food and left our check we never saw her again ... The food is amazing but the service was really terrible first we ordered an appetizer it was made incorrectly but still was good... then we ordered our meals well the appetizer and my ladies plate came out well my meal didn't come waited a few minutes thenasked about my meal well it wasn't placed so had to wait about 10 more minutes then it came well then our waitress came torefill our tea we ordered unsweetened tea she refilled our glasses with sweet tea I am diabetic so I need unsweet tea but willsay "The food was amazing!!!"..... This is by far one of my favorite restaurants. The food is always great and the service is always fast and the servers are... always polite. My wife and I really like the salsa and cheese dip. The Hongo Fries are Excellent as well. The spice is justright, and the food always has good flavor thank Leal's. Read more

We stopped in as we were passing through town on our trip. The staff and the owner were beyond friendly, but let me tell you... about the food! Seriously, do yourself a favor and get the chips and queso! We will be making sure our road trips go throughthis town whenever possible just so we can stop in and eat here again! Read more
