Great food! Although I haven?t sat down to eat , every time we have ordered take out it?s been good. Their omelettes are... delicious, along with their home fries. I don?t normally get rye bread but it?s definitely something you must order when cominghere ! Besides the omelettes, my favorite item to order are the breakfast tacos with chorizo. You are pleasantly surprisedwhen you feel the weight of the box they come in. They are absolutely delicious , full of egg, meat, and veggies and for theprice ? You can?t beat it! Read more
As the rating suggests it's OK. The food that I got was shrimp and scallops doriana, not bad, but I would expect shrimp in sauce... to have the tails removed. However, that's not why I'm writing this review. I am because I was off put by the music beingplayed in the diner. 90s rap, I'm not offended by this music, but I was in the younger 5% of the customer base, and I'm 41. Also I don't believe that baby got back, tootsie roll, or jump around is good diner music, it's more like 90s night at the nightclub, which is still just a gimmick to get middle aged customers. Well?what can I say? Ordered our food and my first plate had a hair in it and not so much as an apology from the waitress. My... daughter ordered a grilled cheese from the kids menu but they forgot to grill the cheese. My second plate came out and it was anoily mess. I ordered a panini and it came on regular bread. When paying I got the standard question ?how was everything? and Isaid what happened. There was silence and I was then told the total like nothing. Also prices seem high. $7.79 for a kidsgrilled cheese and $3 for fries on every dish. Lastly, we felt rushed from our waitress and towards the end of the meal we weretold she was leaving for the day. Went to take my daughter to the bathroom in the mens room and one toilet didn?t have a seatcover and the other stall was locked from the outside and my wife had to take her. Normally food here is good, I've eaten here many times and the food is what you would expect from a dinner. But this time... things went very bad. The ham in my chicken cordon bleu was bad. It tasted and smelled rotten. They apologized and removed it.OK, that is a reasonable mishap. I informed them to discarded the ham. Then my replacement bacon cheese burger arrived andlooked rather sad. The bacon was hard as a rock, not crispy well done hard, just hard like leather. I've never removed baconfrom a sandwich until today. The cheese burger itself was large but unremarkable and just bland. I generally like this dinnerbut this was just unacceptable. My advice is stick to the breakfast, daily specials, soup and dessert. Read more
Pros: food was ok. Sat down quickly even with wait . Fair price , and table area clean enough. Some what staffed. I had the open... face corned beef hash, ( not sure why it's called that , it's just corned beef hash with eggs. ) Cons: Service was so so , asgood as it could be with how employment is now. Not quick on drinks etc. Bathrooms are on the dirtier side, for diner standards.Easley find yourself standing next to people's table while waiting to pay, that's a little uncomfortable, probably for them andyou. We frequent this diner because it is simply the best diner around here. The service is usually really good and the staff are... kind. The food is good and consistent. The management do a great job running this restaurant. We always order the mozzarellasticks for an appetizer. I really like their sauce. Today we ordered sandwiches, a bbq chicken panini and a pork roll and cheesesandwich. They have recently changed their fries to crinkle. cut. Big portions, lots of menu options, great weekday specials (that come with free coffee!), strong AC, and Valerie was a fantastic... server. The process of checking out (you bring your bill to the front) was a little slower and the staff up front were lessfriendly than the wait staff, but maybe it was just early/an off day. Food was very good but way overpriced for the size of your dishes. Waiter didn't seem too interested in helping us and every... time we asked for something else he would just give that kind of ok. Bring cash because this places charges extra for payingwith a credit card as you can see on the receipt. Overall I wouldn't recommend this place based on the prices and overallservice.
