Had a very good meal. I had not been to the new one, and it had been a great number of years since I was there last. We had a... very good meal with a real person taking care of us. Dinner date time! This is one of our usual date night places we dine at frequently. Tonight was a little rougher than usual. I... had the Country fried chicken with mashed potatoes. The strawberry lemonade was flavorful tonight. Our waitress was nice butkept forgetting to bring refills after she said she would. It wasn’t busy for 8pm. But she did take care of us on our otherappetizer choice since we wanted the combo and they were out of wings and potato skins. It was back to school for Ball State sofood was wiped out. The rolls were a little more toasty and hard then usual. We asked for another batch and they were a littlebetter. Not the usual service and food preparation we normally get. Doesn’t mean we won’t come back. Just an off night itseemed. Normally everything is on point that’s why we frequently dine here. We like the atmosphere and the food. So if youhave an off night don’t hesitate to come try it again as we do because we know not every place is perfect. Read more
It has been a while since I have been to this location. I was hot and hungry. The salad was thrown together and was mediocre but... I was happy to have it. I ordered the largest bone-in Rib Eye and the first few bites were amazing but then the salt kicked in.I still love the place....maybe just a change in staff. Read more
My friend didn’t wanna go at the first place. But before we went, I said“Texas Roadhouse is a chain restaurant. How bad it... could be?” Well, this location make me wanna take my words back. ????Killer Rib App?Like BBQ rib. Little dry. ????Sirloin &Shrimp?????Shrimps were Okay. But the steak, I ordered medium. That was closed to be well done. ????Salmon: Lemon pepper butteris a good match. But salmon is something supposed to be well done. Used the call a head seating. Received the text to come in, then was made to wait behind guests who arrived after us. Then was... shown to a dirty table. Then was told we would have to wait until the table was cleaned when there were easily 8+ empty booths. Finally shown to our table which was not the original. The hostess did not seat us with rolls as is customary. Waitress wasgood. Husband's meal was great. Came as ordered. I ordered the 12 oz prime rib medium rare. It came medium well to well andmy sweet potato was cold. I sent back the prime rib only to have it returned to me and told that's all there was. I ended upspeaking to the manager who was really nice. I rarely if ever send anything back. But the meal was $22 and all I ate was thesalad. They ended up bringing me a sirloin on the house. While the manager made things right, which I appreciated, I wasstill not to happy with the initial service and product. Read more
20oz boneless Ribeye was fire!!! But EVERYTHING else was trash. Dropped 130 on it. My daughters shrimp were raw and they got... petty about. This experience was a real let down. Only 4stars for the steak. Read more
If there's one thing about Texas Roadhouse that makes it earn its reputation for great dining, it's excellence. Rarely do you... not get the wholesome, hearty food, cold, refreshing drinks, and excellent, professional staff, like the new bartender Grant,who served me quite well despite his inexperience. With a down-to-earth setting and a variety of food that's to die for, TexasRoadhouse has become the first place I'd want to enjoy my steak dinner every Tuesday and won't change anytime soon. We won't be back. Salad was cold and crisp--very good. Rolls good as usual. Steaks were so bad. Rib-eye had so much... gristle, my husband couldn't eat it. I couldn't tell what kind of meat that was on my plate...it was prime rib. Never seen anyprime rib look so bad. Tasted just as bad. Apparently, TR doesn't know what a good steak is. Read more
