Reviews for The Cup in Muncie, IN
My family and I stopped at the cup while at Ball State for family weekend. The service was poor and the selection was very... limited. They didn?t even have cream at a coffee shop? And no decaf which is all my wife can drink. I settled for what they hadand my two children who were with me also got coffees but my wife had to go down the street to try and find decaf somewhereelse. I spent about $20 for three coffees but when my wife returned to join us with a decaf that the cup did not sell we weretold by the manager she could not join us in the outdoor patio area because she had a coffee from a different shop. We won?t goback because of the bad serve, rude management and the coffee tasted burnt anyway. Read more
The food is good, however, overpriced and there are a lot of flies in the building. I am not sure why but overall experience... would be more enjoyable if the flies were gone, as its giving health code violation. Read more
awesome coffee shop, I wish this was here when I attended Ball State ????
I think their coffee is nice. Really, 2-3 dollars isn't crazy for a drip. I wish there wasn't the $5 card minimum, but I get... it. Wish I could say something about their flavored drinks but I haven't tried them yet. Their drip is great. Read more
It's really nice. Been there with a friend. Smelled coffee scent right after got in the door. I ordered frozen cappuccino with... hazelnut shot and fight club bagel sandwich. They were pretty good. Had a relaxing time there. Read more
Great vibes, friendly staff, great outdoor seating on a beautiful day. Was able to enjoy it with a bagel and coffee. They also... have vegan options which is a major plus. Highly recommend for a good mellow start to the day. Read more
Not too much has changed at this tried-and-true Ball State meeting spot. Called The Empty Cup when I was a local resident years... ago, this cafe has maintained it's small town feel with it's big city taste! I had a frozen blended drink on my visit that putall others to shame. The service was top-shelf and I was more impressed that despite a line of at least 6-deep, with peopleordering food AND drinks, there was only one guy on duty. But, he handled like a pro and his attitude was second to none as heserved quickly, safely, and with a smile. Since they got rid of Dill Street, this all that's left from back in the day, andthat's alright. Read more
My girlfriend came in and ordered food, and drink. both of which were very average. Not bad but not better than anywhere else. I... went to meet her between my classes in thier outdoor area and I had 10 minutes before my next class. They kicked me off of thierpatio because i had a tea. Its not like i was taking up any space as my girlfriend had already occupied a table, I wasnt stayingfor longer than 10 minutes and they did not provide any explanation. Poor communication and rude employees. I said nothing tothe employee and did not cause a scene but you should give your business elsewhere. Read more
