Just went there and had an absolute horrible experience! The server was inattentive and rolled his eyes when we ordered. And... then just left us sitting there. After we had been out of drink for awhile, finally came back over and asked if we wanted more.Would be nice if the webpage said all beer is served warm. The server never even apologized even after us saying something. Thiswas even our first visit. We won?t be back! Read more
I'm not a craft beer enthusiast but I am a pizza enthusiast and The Guardian is some of the best in Muncie. Unique topping... combos on their standard offerings, but can also do your basic toppings as a create-your-own. We have done carry out pizzasseveral times. This is one of our favorite spots in Muncie. They started out as a small brewery with nothing but the bar and a handful of... delicious handcrafted beers. They have been slowly growing over the past few years and now offer a selection of tasty flatbreadpizzas along with a bigger selection of brews from which anyone can find something they like! The staff and the brewers (who canbe seen working their magic with the equipment) are friendly, knowledgeable and happy to answer questions! All this, and itstill feels like the small local place it started as. Highly recommend! Read more
The Guardian Brewing Co in Muncie is a great place to go for a beer and some quick bites. I tried 8 of their brews and really... enjoyed them all. My favs were the Fudge Pop Porter and the Kitty Whispers (sour). I was pleasantly surprised by how good thefood was. I had one of their flatbread pizzas and it was delicious. The evening I was there, they had a free comedy show goingon. Each of the performers were quite good, especially Mikey Mason, who had some very entertaining songs as well as stand-up. Read more
Small microbrewery with surprising number of beers available. There's something for everyone. Great service. Only pizza on the... menu, but these were unique and delicious, sized perfectly for sharing or for one if you are hungry. Couple of well kept pooltables and it looks like they have live music at times. Will definitely go back. Read more
There's not many places around here that my wife and I mutually find fantastic....except this one. First time going here tonight... and it was stellar. Pizza is an easy top 3 in the vicinity. Beer was pretty enjoyable and interesting. The lager I had was THEsmoothest lager I've ever had. The waitress we had was very accommodating since it was our first time. She even brought us awhole pitcher of water without asking. Overall I'd give this 10 stars if I could. Thank you Guardian Brewery for making usbelieve in great establishments in Muncie again. Bravo! Not really sure where to start with this one. The beer was dated and lacked complexity. Styles consistent with a decade ago. I... had a NeIPA that was completely transparent, when asked the bartender said they filter a NeIPA. Who does that? Had their pizzaand on the way to the restroom noticed they baked in the equivalent of a commercial easy bake oven. Not to mention it was theblandest thing I?ve chewed on.
