I?m only sorry it took us four years of our son going to school here for us to find this place but happy we still have two more... years to enjoy it. I?m not exaggerating when I saw it?s the best meal I?ve had in years. Everything is homemade and made fromscratch. Everything. For example, they make their bbq sauce from peaches and it?s amazing. The pickle their own pickles? you getthe idea. It?s not a huge place but they will hold a table for parties of 5 or more if you call in advance. They have a bar sideand a family side. Oh!! AND save room for the $4 giant piece of peanut butter pie! Or you could split it. The prices are alsowonderful!! Can?t say enough good things. The service was superb. My husband and I have been going here for years now, and the food is usually pretty good. However, tonight the fries and onion... rings were very obviously burnt. We thought at first maybe the fryer was turned up too high or something. When we mentioned thisto our waiter, he did not want to offer us a replacement or refund for the burnt food. As someone who has worked in food servicefor years, I thought it was commonplace to offer a replacement or refund when the food is less than satisfactory. I guess not.He even acknowledged that there was something wrong with the fryer, which means they knew about it before they served us theburnt fries and onion rings and still served it to us anyways. I can't imagine we were the only ones who were given burnt foodtoday. I don't know if we'll be coming back here again, unfortunately. Read more
