Miserable place filled with miserable people. Bartender looked like he had just crawled out from under a rock. There were... ?patrons? who Looked like they were headed to a Klan rally after they drank their Buds. A real pit. Read more

We were very pleased with the food and the service. We both had specialty burgers and they even threw in a delicious bowl of... macaroni salad on each plate. Very generous portions and delicious. We will definitely be back. . Read more

We ordered the mountain salad, perogies and cheese pizza. The salad was good, but overpriced for the amount served. Perogies... were tasty, and the cheese pizza was the worst pizza we ever had. It tasted like a cheap freezer pizza. We are sorry to say wewill not be back. Read more

Do not waste your time going here. The advertised being open 12-9 on a Sunday. When we got there the sign said 12-7. We arrived... at 5:50, so we thought we were still ok. When we inquired about seating they said the kitchen closes at 6,and they were donecooking for the day. They were indifferent and uninterested in doing anything for us. I will never go here again. Still great food. They have staffing problems, like everywhere else, but Rocky did a great job. Burgers and fries were... amazing. Read more

Finally made the trip up from Montoursville to check it out. Yup, it's a cool place. It's well maintained and clean. The beers... were frosty cold and the food was tasty. Good place to stop and chill. Not much staff, but what they have is great. Fun localtavern with nice outdoor seating, firepits, swings, and sometimes karaoke or dj on the weekend. And look, I read some of thecomments griping about service or speed. Come mellow with time to chill. People seem to show up in spurts, so you may need towait for attention. If that's the case, order 2 beers at a time. Be smart, not rude. Don't expect the Waldorf Astoria typeservice on a mountain in PA. We had fun, met lots of locals that were kind and talkative, and overall had a great time. Say hito the rich guy that lives in the rest area across the street for me! Kidding, lol, but go find out what I'm joking about. Thanks for the tip Brenda to check the place out, we were not disappointed. Be well! Read more

Service is ok. We waited ten min just to order a drink. Four people stood at the bar after us and got served first. Slushie was... good but like $6 for something so small, seemed overpriced for the area. IPA was $6 as well. Expensive for what you get... Read more

We came here once before and really enjoyed it so on our travels we went a little out of the way to come back and try it again... . The food here is really good. Ordered a burger and a cheese steak but the highlight of dinner for me is the mountain mangravy. They have mountain man fries which is an order of fries topped with a brown beer gravy and chunks of Cooper sharp cheese. In my opinion they are incredible. I'm not typically a fan of fries with brown gravy, but this gravy has a taste of beer to itwhich is not overwhelming, but noticeable and delicious. You can just get the order of fries that comes with your sandwich madeinto mountain man fries for a small upcharge if you don't want a whole appetizer size order. This trip I asked to have myregular cheesesteak (which is made with Ribeye by the way) made into a mountain man cheesesteak with gravy and Cooper sharpadded to the steak. Our waitress was such a sweetie and very attentive. However, she did forget to ask us if we wanted desertwhich we did. We got a peanut butter pie to go which looked delicious. The only disturbing thing I did witness was one of theother waitresses that wrapped up the clean silverware into napkin bundles (the tops of the silverware sticking out)hadaccidentally dropped one. She then picked it up and put it in with the rest of the clean silverware. Not something that willkeep me from coming back but will definitely make me wipe down my silverware in the future. Read more
