The first thing I noticed was how clean the restaurant was, which in my book earns an A+. The lady who greeted my husband and I... was very nice. We had high expectations for the food, we started with some egg rolls those were good, nice and crispy! We alsogot pot stickers, (pan fried) those were just ok not as crispy as we'd like. We got shrimp fried rice which we thought lackedflavor, was too dry and came out at room temperature, we also got shrimp chop suey that also lacked flavor. VERY DISAPPOINTING!! Inaccurate menu and pricing on website. Portion size and taste was not worth what the cost was. The food was very fresh tasting. Just as fresh if I made it myself at home. The beef was very tender and I had absolutely no... fat strands in the beef like I have experienced at other places. The sauce was not over powering or overly salty. I couldactually taste the flavor of the meat and vegetables. The vegetables were not over cooked and soggy. First time visitor and had egg rolls, egg drop soup, hot tea and spicy sesame chicken. Egg rolls were huge and great... flavor...maybe a tad heavy on the peanut butter (user preference). We really enjoyed our meal here. The egg rolls live up to the hype - crunchy but not dry, and the filling is generously balanced... with meat and vegetables. I had the fish in ginger sauce, which was very good, and my 2 kids enjoyed the curry chicken andempress chicken respectively. And our server was fantastic - friendly and attentive. The owner stopped by and chatted a fewtimes and was also very attentive and helpful, and she seemed like the kind of business owner who likes to get to know hercustomers. Read more
