Having a local go-to, authentic, and geniunely enjoyable taco restaurant close to me is awesome. So happy to see Stoney\'s Tacos... open up here and I honestly would highly recommend it! Coming from out of state this will be a stop every time coming to Pittsburgh! Great Mexican food and taste is amazing!
Was told by many that this place was authentic, the 1st time coming here they were not open til noon so I left. Today is my 2nd... try and its 1pm...... was told their Barbacoa and Birria beef wasn\'t available for another 30 to 40 mins because they justopen. Just chicken and ground beef was available.........I can go to taco bell for that! $4 for a single taco is a littleexcessive, even with the inflation Brandon has caused. I may give this place one more chance if they survive. My suggestion isprobably not come here for lunch when they open, maybe wait for dinner time and they\'ll have everything thing available. Living here a year I haven\'t found anything like it.. the people are great and the food was authentic and freshly made.. the... serving size for the dishes we got are perfect. The tacos are big and packed with so much flavor.. the nachos are exploding withfreshness and flavor. The burrito was stuffed and full of meat.. PLEASE DO NOT compare to toco bell.. This is true Mexicanfood.. fresh hot and just amazing.. we ended up taking home leftovers. Such a great meal! We ordered super nachos with shredded chicken, a cillerman burrito, and chips and salsa. Very well flavored... chicken and stewed beef. Spicy tomatillo salsa. Read more
The people were really nice but the food is another story. I bought some nachos and waited a hour for them. The chips were soggy... like it was sitting there long when they told me to come back in an hour and the chips that weren\'t soggy tasted stale. Read more
Hands down the best tacos and nachos in Pittsburgh! Fresh nachos and shells fried up to order, fresh cut toppings, and the meat... is seasoned SO good. Do yourself a favor and try it. I\'m addicted now. Read more
