We ate here with a group of 7 people, which included 3 young children. The wait for a table was short! The staff was great at... providing recommendations on the menu for those who wanted breakfast or lunch and for our children. The food was great andportions were nicely sized. Commander has been a pretty solid place if you're looking for a family style dinner. They have the typical items you'd expect in... a Greek owned restaurant like breaded veal cutlet pork tenderloin Fried Chicken etc etc. Been going there for years the food isalways been consistent. A lot of these places have faded away over the years but Commander has managed to stay in business withgood quality food and a friendly staff. Keep up the good work! Read more
Decent all around diner. Place was clean. Food was pretty good, not fantastic but good. Service was excellent. My only real... complaint was the gravy on my open face roast beef looked like poultry gravy but didn't taste like poultry, nor did it tastelike beef. It was bland and well....... just bland tasteless gravy. Would have been fine if it was the usual rich brown gravybut was a yellowish tan bland gravy. Read more

Used to love this place, but the food does not taste the same. Prices go up constantly. The soup is still absolutely the best... around. And it's alarming when they are throwing soup out before they are closed. Read more

Such a wonderful place to eat food is delicious... Customer service is great the waitresses are so kind and friendly..they don't... rush you.. the prices are wonderful you get a lot of bang for your buck .. handicap accessible the family restaurant we coulddo as little as one person how to parties of 20 or more they also cater.... Came into town for a delivery but the pharmacy at the hospital was closed. The security guard recommended the spot. Great food... nice diner atmosphere. BTW try the lemon rice soup the owner gave me a sample and my wife ate it all. But what of it I didtaste it was really good. Read more
