We loved our dinner at Giovanni?s. It started with fresh rolls and bread served with a trio of butter, oil&spices, and fresh... parmesan cheese. My dinner special of chicken alfredo came with either soup or salad. I choose the minestrone soup. Very good! The chicken was cooked perfectly since it was so tender. The alfredo was creamy and way too delicious (and fattening of course).My husband?s dinner of an 8 oz fillet and shrimp scampi was inhaled! He also enjoyed his garden salad with bleu cheesedressing. Our waitress was great and they also have a young man bringing drinks and extra bread if you so desire. I would highlyrecommend this restaurant that has been here forever. Read more

I am a vegetarian who loves vegetables, but I still eat eggs and cheese. What I absolutely love about this restaurant?s... authentic Italian cuisine is the flavor! The bread/olive oil/parmesan cheese made it difficult not to fill up before ourdelicious entrees (I had the linguine primavera). You may struggle to make room for dessert. I give it 2 stars because the waitress and other staff were very nice and tried to make our time there a good experience.... Unfortunately, there was a very long wait for good that wasn't good. The bread was ok and I enjoyed the Rockefeller oysters. Themussels were ok as well. However, you'll see from the pictures that I ordered more than that and it was sent back because itwasn't good at all. There was also a tomato and basil soup that tasted like paste. Our waiter Tommy was great. The food looked great but it was a bit salty. I had the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo. The atmosphere... was good though. Live piano and still able to talk and have a conversation. Great bread and minestrone soup. Read more
Shout out to the staff!! We didn't have reservations yet they made room for us. Everyone we encountered was so nice!????????? I... mean really who doesn't love a good bruschetta!!!???? Beautiful, fresh and the toast very very good!! However, I didn't needthat as an appetizers b/c BABY their complementary bread rolls absolutely SMACKED!!!!??? Warm, soft freshly baked type of yeastroll sprinkled with cheese and offered with oil or butter!!????????Bread Heaven!????. We also had calamari fresh, soft andseasoned well. YUM! our entrees were Lasagna, a seafood risotto and chicken marsala!! My sister wasn't crazed about theLasagna it had a type of cream sauce on top. She gave it a 3/4 out of 5. My risotto was a whole meal, creamy, full of flavorand seafood!! ???????????? My husband and brother really enjoyed the chicken Marsala!!? the chicken was melt in your mouthgood!!!
