I would have given this restaurant five stars because of how clean it is, the usual great customer service that they have, and... the speediness of bringing the order down. The only reason that they received four stars from me right now was because there wasone worker there that had the nastiest attitude when we came in, which was very surprising because he was a man. He was talkingnicer to the customers that were white, but when he came to my family, a black family, he was mumbling and trying to tell us howto rearrange the table so that he can move faster. I hate to say it, but he was black, and I'm just starting to see that manyblack people do not care about anything especially if it has something to do with other black people. Read more
Still a decent restaurant after all these years. It's generally not too busy and so not much of a wait if any at all. The place... needs a remodel because it's become dated and a bit dark. The staff have been helpful. The food is what you'd expect at a redlobster, not bad, but not amazing. It's a good place to hang out with friends or family for a quick bite or drinks at the bar. Have always had nice experiences coming here since I was a teenager. Came over the weekend and ordered To Go over the phone.... Lady who took our order was patient, courteous and detail oriented. Pickup was nice. Food was very good once we arrived home. Nocomplaints! Thank you guys! Read more
The Red Lobster's food, at 9311 Calumet in Indiana, does not taste as good as the one on Southwest Highway in Chicago' s Oak... Lawn neighborhood. The quality of food is not the same. I ordered the endless clam chowder, cheddar biscuits, and Cesar saladfrom the lunch menu. The salad was wilted. The Cesar salad dressing had no taste to it and the Parmesan cheese was lackluster.The clam chowder was very tasty though. The cheddar biscuits were dry. I experienced this once before a few months ago andchalked it up to a "bad day". But this is the second time, the food has not been up to par. I will NOT return to this location.They have a lot of waiters and waitresses but not as many customers. I sat at the bar and one of the waiters even said, "it'sdead in here". I didn't complain to the manager like I normally do because I didn't feel like the aggravation. I had already upmy mind that I'll not return here. I'll just go to the Red Lobster Restaurant where I get good service and great food. Insteadof hiring so many wait staff, maybe better cooks would be in order. Read more
We had A Party Of 7 4 adults 3 kids,We Told them The host put up a finger to say give me one minute,Next thing I know it’s... all of a sudden A 45 minute wait when they close at 10 place was empty seen 4/5 servers walking around!! I ask for corporatenumber manager told me she all of a sudden didn’t Have it or know it We was racially profile because as more customers beginto enter they were White and there was 4 and seated immediately !!! Good quiet atmosphere! We got a lot of food and liked it all. The crunchy brussel sprouts are amazing! If you like fish,shrimp... or scallops you should give it a try! Oh and the biscuits are delicious!! Read more
The food was excellent as usual. Had the shrimp fettuccine alfredo. Love those biscuits! The service was a tad slow but... understandable because there were a lot of folks in there getting a discount for veterans Day. Way to go Red lobster! Read more
