I happened upon Taco Bell last Friday afternoon that was a gorgeous day until it got cold and began to rain. So I came here to... order something quick and as I sat in drive-thru awaiting my order I asked the cashier about adding nachos. She was more than accommodating and offered the meal. I refused that. Overall our experiences with this Taco Bell have been split between negative and positive, but now it will be a while before I... return. 2 days ago I ate one of those burritos with beans and rice (I always sub refried beans for black beans), and halfwaythrough the burrito my lips became very tingly. The food was not especially spicy, I have eaten like a hundred of the same kindof burrito before, and I have no food allergies. I gave the rest of my food to my husband because I was pretty sure I was justhaving a minor allergic reaction to something in it (the same thing happens to me with certain chapsticks). My lips have beenraw, scabby, and peeling ever since, and I can?t believe that days after eating half a burrito I still can?t open my mouth allthe way without bleeding. I really don?t know what could have caused this, but I assume that it must be due to a contaminantbecause I have never had this reaction to food before and I have lots of experience with the exact kind of food I ate. Also,only a couple days prior to this incident, my husband became very ill at work after eating spicy potato tacos from the samelocation. We thought it was a stomach bug, but in hindsight we?re less sure. He?s one of those people that does even really getsick when he?s sick, if you know what I mean, so this was pretty significant.
