We had an absolutely wonderful lunch today. My husband and I both had burgers, a double and a mushroom swiss. We also ordered... the boneless wings for $1 each with onion rings and garlic mashed potatoes. Everything was hot and fresh! Our waitress Emma isalways so pleasant and attentive. Great meal! We are pretty fastidious about cleanliness since COVID came about. We do wipe down our spaces... on occasion that is terrifying.... My office manager grabbed that Clorox wipe and wiped down the table which we were told had just been cleaned. When she pulledthe wipe up it was incredibly dirty! Then we wiped down our glasses, and the glass was incredibly dirty. Don't they run thosethrough the dishwasher? Then we had a spider crawl across our table... then he apparently brought his friend with him and shecrawled across our table later. This is the nastiest Applebees I?ve ever in my life been too. A guy came in for a take out order and he dropped it. The sauce... went everywhere. Not 1 employee cleaned it up. A hostess walked by the spill 7 times and we told 2 other employees, it was nevercleaned up. Sadly it's a 30 minute drive to this location as the other ones near us closed. We decided to go here for date night and it was... well worth the drive. Our waiter was very busy but he was amazingly friendly, attentive, and helpful. The food was so good! I'vemissed the riblet platter and had to stop myself from stuffing my face so I could bring some home to enjoy today. ???? A+experience, we will be back! Read more

Mixed review. Food was good! I had the bourbon street chicken and shrimp plate. Wife had the double crunch wings. Server... (Josh?) was polite and attentive. He wasn't fast but wasn't slow either. He didn't leave us hanging when we needed drinks andsuch. BUT(the big but) I was a little put aside by the manners of the tall guy behind the bar. Not sure if he was on themanagement team or the bartender. But he was a bit rude. Server was discussing our meal options when the bartender interruptedhim mid-sentence to tell him he entered the wrong table number in the system for a double shot for a customer near our table. But the bartender counted the tables wrong. So after barking at our server and cutting him down in front of us, turns out hemade the mistake. Then a few minutes later, same bartender bellows out Josh's name across the restaurant to clarify what heordered for another customer, rather than go to him and ask politely. Oh and we were talking to Josh that time as well when heinterrupted like that. No professionalism at all. I really wanted to call him out by that time, but I didn't want to create ascene. Last thing that was just an observation. There was a young lady on shift that was working in sweats. Now I'm notjudging. She may have come in wearing the right uniform and soiled her slacks and that's all she had left. It just didn't sitwell, with her out there in a t-shirt and sweats serving customers. Carding grown a** adults! Absolutely crazy, if I hadn?t been traveling across country, left my ID in hotel and took a lift to... get some long awaited food, I would of had no problem! Offered them a picture of the front and back of my currant driverslicense?. But wouldn?t except this!
