After taking a trip to Italy, got a salad and pizza to see how it compared. All I can say is WOW! Pizza is New York style -... thinner and crispy on bottom and more chewy in the middle. Dough is handmade and tastes it. Ingredients on top were fresh. Salad had lettuce, olives, feta cheese and ordered balsamic vinegar for dressing. Don’t let the small size fool you. Pleasantly surprised. I had just a house salad and a cold Italian sub, got a large pepperoni & sausage pizza for the rest of the... family. They loved the pizza and couldn't stop talking about how delicious it was. I was impressed that a side salad had bothgreen and black olives, robust purple onion slices, tomatoe,cucumber and multiple types of lettuce . My sandwich was deliciousand filling. I've been looking for an NYC style pizzeria that was fairly authentic for a long time. I finally found one! Luca's was great. I... had the 2 slices lunch. They were large cut (Brooklyn style) which I was VERY happy to see. The toppings go to the edge sothere's no "bone crust". If you're looking for an old school pizzeria, this is the place for you! I was greeted and my order was taken right away. Even though they were swamped they were cordial and had time to chat for a... little between orders. This evening I ordered a Cheese Calzone, Steak Supreme sub, Chicken Parmigiana Stromboli, ZitiFettuccine Alfredo, Cesear salad, and Manicotti and a dozen garlic rolls. Everything was delicious.
