Weird first visit. Stopped in with my daughter just get her some Mac and cheese. Staff was visibly disappointed that customers... walked in. Two of the young ladies made it clear they did not want to deal with anyone at that time. I image the lunch rush wasvery busy and we came in around 3pm down time. Also thought the food was really expensive for the quantity. Got 2 sides, a sliceof cornbread, and a drink and it came up to 12 bucks. She initially said $7 and said ?oh wait $12?. I was trying to do the mathon she came to that number but I had a toddler running around the store and didn?t wanna delay getting her the Mac andcheese. Food tasted good. We have been to Mission BBQ about 3 times. Every time we have guests in from out of town we take them there and they love it.... The food is always good, I like the pulled pork sandwiches for me and the sides are really good. The people are so friendly andservers come by and chat with us every time. Very homey atmosphere. am always touched by the salute to the U.S. each day andlove how serious people are about it. We are planning to go there today, as a matter of fact. Read more
Not great but not horrible either. I've had worse. I had the sampler platter with brisket, pulled chicken, and baby back ribs.... My sides were mac and cheese and the kickin collard greens. All of the meats were over cooked. The chicken was mushy. Thebrisket had no smoke flavor and was crumbly. The ribs were also over cooked, dry, and had no flavor. The ribs also had a not sogood smell to them. I couldn't tell if they were smoked or not because the meat was grey with no signs of a smoke ring ortaste. The mac and cheese was dry and tasted like krafts. The collard were ok but too soupy and the tomatoes aren't my thing incollards. With bbq sauce everything was edible. Everyone was polite. The decor is all out patriotism. I felt like I was in awar/military/police museum. With that being said, I don't think I will be going back. There are better bbq places to go to. Read more
Great atmosphere in this military favored all American BBQ restaurant. I ordered the barbecue sampler with brisket, short ribs,... and chicken. The plate came out quick and the staff was very friendly. At the table there are a variety of sauces from all overthe country which was nice. No matter where you're from a taste of home is waiting for you. The barbecue was pretty good for arestaurant. A little salty on the ribs a little dry on the chicken and the brisket was OK. But all in all for barbecue on theready served in less than 5 minutes from your order, pretty decent meal. I'll be back. Read more
Hands down the most patriotic restaurant I have ever been in. At noon, every day, everyone stops what they're doing and they... play the national anthem. Everything in this restaurant honors our military, veterans, fire fighters, and police officers. Thefood was really good BBQ and the customer service was top notch. I would absolutely eat here again. Went to Mission BBQ and I was impressed with organization and well run restaurant. The staff was friendly and helpful. I ordered... the brisket which was very juicy and good. The only issue the bisket was alittle salty but still good. Read more
My afternoon out eating at this wonderful establishment was pure delight! The service was excellent and the wait time for my... meal was very fast. The young lady that took my order made eye contact the entire time and smiled her voice was clear and shewas very polite. You just couldn't ask for anything more! I'm a 63 year old Army veteran who has given as well as loves toreceive good service and I stand on that 100%!! I ordered a brisket sandwich with some sides and a drink and my lady orderedsome BBQue meatloaf with some sides and a drink and we couldn't stop talking about the taste and that it wasn't too dry like alot of places that we've been to in the past.
