Very good smoked brisket platter. Sides were great also. Spicy sauce had a high heat that builds. Very good. We are normally not... wings people, but tried them based on a friend's recommendation and they were very good also. Fall off the bone meat. I had aleg and it was delicious. Brisket sandwich was a little lackluster, especially in volume, but overall not bad for the price. It would be nice if they... crisped the skin on the wings post smoke, but that's subjective to personal preference. Definitely enjoyed the lunch and I'drecommend and return. Read more
If you like barbeque, this is definitely a must stop. They were smoking when we drove up and the smell was fabulous they have... both indoor and outdoor dining and takeout We are picky about what constitutes good barbeque and this is by far one of the bestplaces we have been. A little off the beaten path, near the college, but we are so glad we found it. We had pork sandwich,fries, onion rings and they were all great. Staff was great Stop here if you are hungry! Read more

Visited this location as a out of town blogger tracking down mirrors and artwork around town. They have a fantastic Georgia... Tennessee mural on the side of the building. Very colorful lots of fun. Great place for photos in selfies. Can?t wait to comeback and try the food food Read more
Best BBQ in the Boro! Fall off the bone ribs. Cooked to perfection. The wings are out of this world. Smoked perfectly and still... juicy on the inside. Very well done. The potato salad is some of my favorite. The Mac n cheese is super cheesy and runny. Allof the sides feel like they've been crafted with local town TLC even tho they are your regular BBQ joint sides. I'm not a fan ofbeans (except baked beans), yet the white beans at Slick are actually tasty in my book. Not too chalky and with the right amountof salt. Maybe even a little too salty for some but it works for me. Yum. My wife loves the banana pudding and i think thecoconut cream cake is perfection. Fluffy cake with a huge helping of flaky coconut sitting on sweet coconut cream drizzle on thebottom. So so delicious. Slick Pig does a lot right. I've lived in the Boro my whole life. Born in '86, I was around for a bitbefore Slick slid into town. I remember way back in the day, after baseball games, we would hit up Slick Pig or Sir Pizza. Inhigh school, my best friend played rugby, and after games we would hit up some Slick Pig. I rented my first house duringcollege on the Slick Pig side of town. Ended up buying my first house on that side of town as well with my wife. We eventuallymoved to the Church Street side of town towards Shelbyville and we haven't been to Slick Pig in almost 7 years! I can't believeit's been that long. Well, I recently Door Dashed some Slick and IT IS STILL just as delicious as I remember. I love havingSlick Pig in our home town. Truly is some of the best BBQ in town. Minor gripes bc no place is perfect.. 1. My wife says thechicken salad is too onion-y. But I personally love it. 2. I wish the blue cheese dressing was chunkier. 3. I wish the porksandwiches were shredded more. Most times when you take a bite, it's just a huge chunk of meat which can be dry in the middle.Some people may enjoy that. I prefer mine shredded more. Still a damn good sammie. No place Read more
In my humble opinion these are the best smoked wings I've ever had. They EASILY blow away anything I've found in Nashville. ... Been here 3 times and they seemingly taste better to me each time I come back. Worth the drive down for the wings alone. Read more
