Definitely did not make the grade! Oysters served on a tin tray with lemon wedge, the shrimp "cocktail" served on a flat plate... with 6 pieces and sauce in a cup not worth the $18 charge! Menu boasting a Lockeford hotdog only to have it served on a .50 cent bun, no condiments and a paper plate $8.00. Don't ask for a soda, they don't serve any, just warm water, which they don'trefill unless asked. The three other tables couldn't leave fast enough. No effort. Stick to selling T-shirts. Read more
I?m never in a mountain town thinking ?you know, I wonder if they have decent oysters around here?? but after a few recommends... from folks around town we checked this place out. Lemme tell you - the raw and bbq oysters were remarkably good. Not just ?ohwe?re in the mountains getting seafood? good but genuine *good*. The raw oysters were great - but the bbq was a surprise. Notoverdone and dry, but a warm cooked just right with a fantastic sauce. These guys know their trade and it shows. Woulddefinitely come back. Read more

I love this store. The clothes are carefully selected for their quality and aesthetic. The jewelry is absolutely beautiful and... crafted by local artists. And the food is absolutely amazing. Prepare to be amazed as your welcomed by the warm and smilingfaces inside. This is one of my favorite places in Murphy?s I could and often do spend hours in here. Read more
Wow! What a great addition to our little town of Murphys! My husband is a huge fan of oysters and having lived in Ventura for... the last 20 years before moving here with me has had some great fresh ones. He ordered several variety yesterday and said theywere the best he'd ever had. We also picked up an killer hemp hoodie for him there that was amazing top quality. So many wonderful things to say about Murphys Grade. For me it?s the Oyster. For my older son it?s the experience he loves... walking around the shop and asking a million questions. By no fault of Murphys Grade, they were not able to serve their signature oysters today due to sourcing and quality concerns.... But my wife and I were still able to try their wild halibut ceviche with choice of crostini or tortilla chips, which wasexcellent. The staff were super friendly and inviting and the space was clean and cool. They have done a great job utilizing theinterior space they have to offer - food, drinks, jewelry, and clothing. They also smoke their fish outside in front which showshow serious they are about the food they are offering. We can't wait to come back. Read more
Phenomenal oysters and sourdough bread. Simple, effective, flavorful, fast, and perfectly prepared. I got the wood grilled ones,... and they were perfectly done, not overcooked like many do, just a nice smokeiness yet still creamy and a nice touch of garlic.Trest yourself and enjoy! Read more
