The tempura avocado was slightly overdone, but the rest of the meal was great! Wonderful steak with whiskey butter. Cooked as... ordered and served with fresh green beans and carrots. What a nice quaint place to have dinner!! We both ordered pasta dishes. My man ordered the Carbonara Linguine and I had the... veggie lasagna. Both were beautifully presented and had aromatic flavors!! The linguine was nice and warm spicy while my lasagnawas filled with so much delicious veggies. GREAT LOCAL SPOT- we were just in Murphys on vacation over the holiday weekend. We asked the locals what their favorite place to... eat is. Many said Rob?s Place hand down. They have a lovely eclectic menu. Something for everyone. We had been wine tasting allafternoon so we had a couple of apps- wish we had a full dinner. We checked yelp and reviews were good. we have eaten at many restaurants in Murphys and have never had a bad meal, until now. We... parked on the street to avoid their tight parking lot. There were 5 tables with people outside and 3 tables with people inside.So roughly 40% full of capacity. We asked for inside were seated immediately and given water by the hostess/assistant. It tookmore than 10 minutes for the waitress to acknowledge we existed. Since it was our first time here we, of course, had questions.She seemed snappy and impatient with us. Well she took our order of a Burger with onion rings and a Rueben with fries. The foodtook about 25 minutes and our food finally arrived and our waitress seemed to forget we existed. We shared of sandwiches. TheBurger was very moist and the meat tasted fresh. Quite enjoyable. My wife enjoyed it also as well as her onion rings. My frieswere good too but my wife couldn't take more that 2 bites of the Rueben. Firstly the "Corned Beef" was cold and tasted like anOscar Meyer product.
