If you are considering Apple Spice Junction to cater your wedding or event please read this review first. We secured apple spice... to cater my daughters wedding dinner last month. She was married at 4 in the afternoon. The venue told them that they couldarrive at that time to set up. They told me prior to that day they would be there at 4:30. They did not arrive to the venueuntil 5:40 PM. My daughters wedding dinner was to start at 5:30. In speaking to the catering manager she told me the servertried to call me at 5:10. No calls were placed to my phone, my husbands, or my daughters phone. I was actually trying to callthem to see where they were but they close at 5. At this point I had over 65 people waiting for dinner! My husband wasconsidering going down the street and ordering pizza at that point. The hostess of the venue went out to the parking lot to lookfor the caterers and found them at 5:40 just sitting in the parking lot. When entering the venue one of the servers dropped thetossed salad and contaminated it. No one was able to eat until the food was set up which took about 30-45 mins. At that point westarted without the salad we couldn?t wait any longer. My daughters open house was to start at 7 and this was a dinner forfamily and friends who attended the wedding, it threw the whole day off. They were trying to change out table cloths after thedinner while guests were coming to the open house. The food was cold from the very beginning. The grandma of the bride wentthrough the line 1st with my nieces husband and they both said their food was cold. Several other family members said the same.My husband and I ate last & our food was cold as well. Not only were they an hour and 10 minutes late the food was not what weordered. We requested baked potatoes and they brought rice pilaf. Then proceeded to blame me for that in speaking to thecatering manager. My company got boxed lunches from Apple spice and their herb chicken was amazing. They provide a separate small container of... pesto to add if you want and the amount of food was insane. More than I?ve ever seen in a boxed lunch. Yum! Read more

Catering: I had the pasta salad ... Way too much mayo; also had a chicken salad sandwich... Again way too much mayo and no... grapes. Any flavors were washed out. The bread was toasted on the inside then layered with lettuce on both pieces. But the wayit was Saran wrapped the outside was extra squishy with moisture. Not to mention the side of black olives, if they're removedfrom the brine too early, they develop a weird flavor. Read more

Something to consider before supporting this business??As a now former employee I?m absolutely disgusted on how I was treated by... Jody after having a miscarriage. On Friday 9/9/22 Jody made me feel guilty about leaving work to seek emergency medicalattention because it left the store even more short staffed then it already was. Jody never responded to messages when I toldher I wouldn?t be in for the next 3 days. She fired me when I came back to work claiming it was because ?I just didn?t show upfor 3 days? and because of my Attitude towards her as my boss and claims I threatened her when I warned the possibility of alawsuit and wanting to speak to the owner about what happened. Then sent a harassing message 30 minutes after I left the storeclaiming it was because I had a ?will do what ever I want attitude? am my ?attitude towards the job?. Jody was extremelyinsensitive over this matter and made an already Traumatic experience all that much worse. I have never been confronted aboutany issues in the short time I had been there prior to this. I don?t understand how anybody could expect an employee to workwhen actively having a miscarriage she wouldn?t even look at the doctors note I had excusing the time. Read more

I loved Apple Spice Junction in different state. But this location was so busy with catering that I had to wait for my salad... that I ordered in person over 30 mins to get it. I could have gotten something else and go back to work meanwhile. Sodisappointed and their staff prioritize catering obviously. Read more
