Used to eat here quite often, but noticed since COVID the quality of the food has gone down. We continue to a go few more times... to find not the best of service,until tonight. Since it's a little bit of a drive we were getting take out. My husband orderedmy sandwich with no onions. He was watching at the counter as the cook added a handful onions to my sandwich. My husband had topractically scream to be heard by the cook to let him know no onions. The cook then grabs new ingredients and then continues toadd onions yet again! The woman running the counter finally came over and boxed the food without even fixing the issue. After Igot home I spent at least 20 minutes combing out layers of onion. There was more onion then even meat for the sandwich. I guessif I ever want Great Steak again I will travel to City Creek. The Fashion Place mall location is just garbage anymore. Read more

It was horrible! Why did you take away the pineapple and put on a purée? You can?t even taste it. Then when I went and asked... about it the the lady at the register ?says yes it?s on there. The the female cook comes over and says ? no it?s not on there?.I said we requested it. She then says ? oh well it?s on there then?. No it was not.Prices went up to 25.00 for 2 combo meals so to not get it right is sad. Lost 2 customers. Read more
My wife and I visit Great Steak, at least, three times a month. We absolutely love their Phillies. The crew always remembers us,... and will even remember our usual request for small containers + lids and will set them out for us and have them waiting for usat the other end of the counter before we even finish ordering our food, and before we even request them, which is great. Theytruly know the meaning of great customer service. We will continue coming to this location for as long as we can. Read more

Prices have been raised so far this place is no longer worth it. 25$ for a sandwich drink and fries? I can get a steak with... sides for that price. When it can out no fries. I told her. She walked back to the fryer and put a batch down. Turned to me andasked if I want fry Sauce. Turned grabbed it and handed it to me. Pulled the fries and handed them to me. Yup raw almost all theway thru. Meat was also over seasoned on the sandwich. Sad part this was my favorite Philly chain since I first went in 1989.But just can?t bring myself to do it again.
