Had a good meal. The booths were a bit tight for me but they moved us to a nice table. It was quiet and I gave service a great... tip for great service. Was surprise to see them in masks but i appreciated it! The place was so clean and smelled delicious whenwe walked in. Well... Judging by the many negative reviews, I guess I just got lucky? I went here for the first time with a friend and we had... a delightful lunch. I got the Tuscan style grilled chicken with sauteed veggies and some tomato basil soup. Pros: - the Tuscanchicken and veggies was /amazing/; the artichokes were tender, chicken perfectly cooked, veggies fresh, and the sauce wasdelicious - waitress was very sweet and friendly - quiet place, not crowded at all - my friend's turkey dinner wasdelicious Cons: - menus need to be cleaned - weren't greeted when we came in, but had to wait for the host/hostess - bread wasa little tough - a little overpriced - tomato basil soup was not for me; sickly sweet and too thick All in all, I would goback! Well...it's gone down hill but they're trying! I've never seen staff juggle so much , so well. They only had two servers working... on memorial day and the place was super busy. They managed to get our food and coffee out quickly and were way more attentivethan I would have expected given the circumstances. Whomever worked memorial day deserves a raise. The food quality was justkind of a let down. But that didn't seem to be anyone's fault. More an ingredient issue. Read more

First impressions, the atmosphere was nice. We weren?t greeted right away. I?m sure we weren?t waiting too long but if felt like... it. We made eye contact with multiple servers but just ignored. We were seated and ordered. I had the Tuscan chicken, it camewith mashed potatoes and vegetables. The potatoes didn?t taste fresh and I?m pretty sure the vegetables were frozen then heatedup. When I pay $15 for a plate I would like my food to be fresh. The chicken was good and perfectly cooked. My boyfriend had theFrench onion soup. I?m also sure that was frozen and heated up too. We just kept laughing about how grossed it looks. Myfavorite part of the meal was the water. It?s not the worst place but service was definitely lacking. We walked in and the Hostess wasn?t anywhere to be seen. After waiting only a few minutes we got seated and I ordered the French... onion soup and my lady friend ordered the Tuscan grilled chicken. The food was pretty bland and the service was lacking the bestpart of our meal was the water that we had to wait for the few and far in between times the server came back to check on us toget refilled. How can you not like Mimi's? We celebrated Thanksgiving with their delicious traditional turkey dinner. We arrived expecting a... crowd and we were right, but it moved quickly and we were led to our table in less than expected time. Service was attentive andprompt. The menu was Thanksgiving only specific and we enjoyed the generous portions of turkey and homemade real mashedpotatoes, stuffing, sweet potatoes, and cranberry sauce, with chef-made gravy. We couldn't finish our substantial portionedmeal, so we had unexpected leftovers and who doesn't want that? Dessert was a choice of pumpkin or pecan pie which we also tookhome. It was truly delicious and was in the tradition of both the season and Mimi's unique cuisine. Expect to pay a little morethan other chain restaurants but expect to be so satisfied that it doesn't matter. We love Mimi's! Read more
