First off Red lobster is kind of a high-end thing for me we went there for a family birthday and kind of just splurged. Had the... stuffed mushrooms for starters and they were pretty good, the rolls they give out while you're waiting we're pretty good but itwas hard for them to bring out enough for the size of our party we had to keep asking for more which wasn't a big deal they werevery busy and understaffed. The waitresses were awesome even though the one that was working on our large table was new and theyprobably should have had someone with more experience taking on the larger tables but it is what it is... Now down to the gistof things we had ordered multiple plates of food the lobster mashed potatoes tasted horrible compared to the past. Something wasjust wrong with the sauce it was too salty and just did not taste good the potatoes themselves tasted good and the lobsterchunks that were in them tasted good also but definitely kind of a letdown. The shrimp skewers were overcooked and the shrimpkind had a rubber texture to it and the sauce they put on it was similar to what was on the potatoes and just way too salty. Onthe trio it comes with shrimp, lobster tail and salmon. So the shrimp wasn't very good the lobster tail tasted very good but itwas very small compared to what you see in the pictures and what you kind of expect at the price you pay for that plate. On agood note salmon was probably one of the best I've ever had. Not overcooked not undercooked and seasoned very well,very lightly.Suicide from some of the food not being so good the food itself was pretty decent otherwise. And there was a table kiddie cornerbehind us that had two small children that were screaming and the parents would not take them outside or do anything to try tokeep control of them. I would like to say if you take your kids to a restaurant and you can't control them maybe you shouldn'ttake them to a restaurant. Will I go to Red lobster again yes... Had a great experience for a friend's birthday dinner. The waitress kept our drinks full and kept bringing garlic biscuits and... that's really the whole reason to go to Red Lobster! Red Lobster has always been delicious and a lovely experience. This was the only visit where I felt a little neglected as a... customer. Maybe it was shift change. Customer service seemed a little, missing. Everyone was still very nice. The food wasstill hot and wonderful. Side salad, fantastic. Hopefully I can update my review in the future. Really disappointed. Great service but food was WAY overpriced. Even for Lobster. There are better seafood places out there for... a nice seafood dinner type experience. Might be a good place for a $10 meal but the lobster was over cooked. My girlfriend and Ididn’t even finish it. The side of fries was a joke. I didn’t eat any before taking the picture. Food tastes reheated and Ipaid $120 that night. Cmon! Next time I’m cooking my seafood at home or going to one of the other places in the valley. I’mno chef. I haven't been here in years and somehow it looks just like I remember! For starters we went in on a Saturday around 1pm and... there were 4 of us. The host advised us that it would be about 45 minutes to we put our name down and went outside to catch up.While waiting we noticed how busy it quickly became. I tracked how long our wait was and it was about 1 hour and 15 minutes.Once we got seated our waiter took forever to come by. When he eventually did, we had our orders picked up and also asked for ahigh chair. He didn't give us one of the sodas (which was charged for in the check) and completely forgot the high chair. Ourfood was alright. Pretty standard what you would expect from Red Lobster. We ordered fish and chips, calamari appetizer, andsurf and turf. We were all stuffed! I noticed afterwards how understaffed they are so I get why service was so slow. I do feelbad for the workers running around and apologizing for the delay. Overall I would give it a solid 6/10. I took their word for it and ordered the chef special. It was a piece of garlic bread and a smoothie with no straw. I'm mad... because I didn't even need the bread, the smoothie had me full halfway through. Also I thought they were fancy here but theytook my card wrapped in the receipt and they didn't have any leather checkbooks to take it back with like the standard. Gottastep it up guys. Read more
