The food was amazing! The pancakes were the perfect size and truly flavorful! Very pleased with the food, the wait wasn’t bad... for a Sunday afternoon. I asked for cheese on my scrambled eggs and they forgot the cheese the first time and I had to ask thewaitress to fix that, overall though I’m very pleased with this Village Inn and plan to make it my new Sunday breakfast joint! The greeter/manager lady was the best of any restaurant I've been to in years. She treated you like a close friend and people... definitely responded well to her. Usually, I'd be singing its praises... Not this time!! The server was pleasant enough, complimenting food choices... The server... wasn't the problem, As expected the food was tasty as usual, However, as I have IBS... From time to time I have occasionalbathroom issues, I had to on this particular occasion run for the bathroom only to find it was being cleaned by (I suspect) themanager who sternly/rudely stated the bathroom was closed for cleaning with no option for alternative other than sitting back atthe table/booth waiting for the bathroom to be cleaned?? My argument was that it was not exactly busy with customers, meaning itcould've been cleaned at the end of the shift after closing time... The diner industry is already in A sad place with many beingclosed down and turned to rubble, Don't give it A reason to go with A bad taste in the customers mouth like it did for me!! Read more
Breakfast 24hrs a day, need I say more? I love the place, the waitresses are kind and courteous. Cooks are fantastic and the... food taste exquisite. Finally, the pies are scrumptious, ???? if you buy a slice, you'll want whole one all to yourself. Read more
The food was reasonably priced and tasted okay. We were seated, but none of the servers knew we were there. After about ten... minutes I asked the girl that had seated us if any of the servers had been told we'd been seated in a secluded corner. Everyoneon the staff was really apologetic, we were immediately served, and we were both offered a free piece of pie to make up fortheir mistake. Everyone was so good about making it up to us that we declined the free pie, and told our server we'd ratherharass the hostess about her mistake. The server thought that was a good idea, and the hostess was really good natured about theribbing we gave her. We'll definitely return. Read more
We haven't been here in a long time. I got the Huevos Rancheros and it was really good. I love the big chips they include. As... for atmosphere... I cant give it 5 stars. It's a diner. What can be spectacular about that? Read more
