This place has delicious pizza. I came here with my family and ordered a XLarge half pepperoni and cheese pizza. The best way to... have pizza is dine in and have it fresh out the oven. The bread on the pizza is so good I almost wanted to eat the pizzabackwards. The location is very clean and the staff are very friendly. We tried this place to satisfy our pasta craving. This worked out because the kids only eat pizza with mushrooms on it. But the... core is nice it has Mr. Carini on the walls and we had a nice afternoon chat with him as well. From what I remember from ourconversation He is 81 and a commercial fisherman that has a restaurant to "pass the time" and they have e been open 10+ years. He had very confident words about his cheesecake and we believe them to be very true. This cheesecake was well balanced not toosweet and has a very thin layer of the crust which made for a very pleasant dessert experience. He definitely proved to us thathis cheesecakes one of the best we've had. We were surprised with some free bread sticks which gave us a good indicator of themeal. His dough is very good and you can tell because you get that crispy sheeny exterior and a super airy soft and chewyinterior. This showed true and both the pizza and the calzone both delicious and their marinara was so good. We have been coming to Carini's for years. We have ordered most items on its menu, listened to the owner sing, chatted with the... Mrs... they became a tradition to us for comfort food. Today we came in for a quick snack filler - a slice of pizza, and weenjoyed the visit the way we have always experienced... plus a big laugh from the owners' funny jokes - as always. We lovethem.
