Went tonight to get a late night dinner for my fiance and I and I'm kind of disappointed at the amount of teriyaki chicken that... was in my takeout to go box I wasn't a fan of my California Rolls although my shrimp chow mein had no flavor orange chicken wasjust a little bit of chicken and this big ball of bread with orange sauce the lady was nice opening the door for me as I left Idon't believe I will be coming back due to the over priced food it's just way too ridiculous it was fun to splurge the first twotimes for a dinner date but I have to pull back it's not worth the money in my opinion I could have gone to Mr you without theCalifornia rolls and pay $20 out the door for 2 plates Update on my review: I did obtain food poisoning tonight and yacked inthe toilet . A delicious hidden sushi gem! Hidden Away in a small mall with everything else, this place sets a great Japanese experience... inside with murals and setting. A cool revolving sushi set up (though currently not used) in front of the sushi prep area is anawesome sight to see. Their menu covers it all from Japanese to Chinese and they even have omikase if you like that. We ordereda couple miso soup and hot Saki (they had a great 2 for 1 deal going on) to start off with. Then we started on some sushi, theyhave a great selection from amber Jack to chu toro that just melts in your mouth. The main sushi chef behind the bar asked uswhat we liked and kept bringing us out more sushi. He was very good and personable and everything he brought and made us wasamazing. After ending up in a food coma we finished up with some green tea ice cream. The prices are reasonable, the service wasvery speedy and attentive, and the food and fish cuts were amazing. Food was good and staff was very friendly. We sat down for lunch while working in the area and it was a great stop for... sure. The sushi was fresh and tasted great and the rolls were made tightly and didn't fall apart when eaten. The seaweed saladwas fresh crisp and flavorful as was was the miss soup. It was a busy night tonight. We were sat immediately. The chef behind the bar was amazing. The service was impeccable. The food... was AMAZING... we ordered like 6 rolls. They were Thanksgiving roll, Christmas roll, Philadelphia roll, dynamite roll, Lion rolland a California roll. Great food!!! Read more
The food quality was great, good flavor, good variety, a bunch of different types of fish that you don't usually find in every... day sushi places. The one detriment to them is that we splurged, it was a once in 6 month outing for us, and got the DeluxeSushi platter thing that was $90 some odd dollars. The fish was all... Everyday fish. Except for one. One was a different fish.But, they had a whole menu of rare super crazy fish we'd never had before and they gave us the whatever stuff. The way theyprepared it was all amazing though, same old fish, new flavors for them, so that was cool. I couldn't even recognize thealbacore. So it was good! Great even!
