The hot chocolate was terrible. As my son said, you can't even taste the chocolate, tastes just like hot water. Starbucks... management needs to make a trip to Java House in Iowa City that place knows how to make good hot chocolate. Read more
I like this store. I like the employees and think they work hard, they are nice and that says a lot these days. However ... I'd... like to suggest the manager not take the large six top table to conduct Starbucks business; conduct trainings, converse withstaff behind counter about schedules, staffing, inventory forms, etc. (from 20 ft away). I had to move to get away from thedistraction of these conversations, only to then have another manager conduct an interview at the table next to me....while twoother employees took breaks at two other tables. Maybe it was just a bad time to be there, 930-10am on a Monday (?) When theemployees "take over" a retail space like this, it is not inviting for customers.
