The hot chocolate was terrible. As my son said, you can't even taste the chocolate, tastes just like hot water. Starbucks... management needs to make a trip to Java House in Iowa City that place knows how to make good hot chocolate. Read more
I like this store. I like the employees and think they work hard, they are nice and that says a lot these days. However ... I'd... like to suggest the manager not take the large six top table to conduct Starbucks business; conduct trainings, converse withstaff behind counter about schedules, staffing, inventory forms, etc. (from 20 ft away). I had to move to get away from thedistraction of these conversations, only to then have another manager conduct an interview at the table next to me....while twoother employees took breaks at two other tables. Maybe it was just a bad time to be there, 930-10am on a Monday (?) When theemployees "take over" a retail space like this, it is not inviting for customers. Fantastic barista with a fun Spirit and attention on us. Not in a hurry to move on to the next person and making sure we were... satisfied. Great and clean shop. Inviting atmosphere for hanging out and perhaps office-ing from time to time. Only two comfyleather chairs were to be had but many tables and pub tables available. An all around good experience. Just passing through forwork but would definitely return for the staff-thank you! Read more
Another Starbuck so much like all the others. Their coffee is good but not great and it could hardly be considered a bargain,... not even a fair price. Their food offering continues to be a disappointment. This is a new shop so it is especially clean andtidy and the staff was friendly and on the ball. Read more
