Local go-to for good Americanized Chinese but they do have some authentic dishes if you want. I recommend the Mapo tofu.
Unfortunately, we have had a really mediocre first visit, the food was bland, not cooked enough, and the rice tasted like... plastic. I generally like to give a restaurant the benefit of the doubt, so we attempted again this past weekend. For our orderwe called our order in, the person taking the order says ?ok, one hour? I said, ?oh wow, an hour ok.? She confirmed again, ?yes,yes, one hour.? I understand that sometimes places are busy and was not starving, so we waited. We arrive almost exactly onehour later and our food was cold and soggy from sitting for much longer than food in a container should be. I cannot recommendthis restaurant. We are fortunate to have this little restaurant nearby. Their food is excellent. Fresh.
This is the worst Chinese food I've ever had. My chicken fried rice has no flavor!! My crab Rangoon had little flavor! My... general tso's chicken was the only thing that had remotely any flavor! $29 for disappointment!!! I will never come back! Read more

I tried this place for the first time today. They have lunch specials, and even though I hadn't called in an order (because they... didn't answer), service was quick. My daughter wanted soup with her meal, and got an egg roll, just like I did, so was a bitdisappointed. The egg rolls were delicious. Her sesame chicken was good, but my "Chicken and Chinese vegetables" didn't have anyspecial taste. It wasn't bad, it just didn't have much flavor at all. The vegetables included a generous variety including:carrots, bamboo, cabbage, onions, water chestnuts and snow peas, and were done perfectly, not overcooked. For lunchtime, mealswere served with rice included in the same container, which was handy. We will be back, but I am ordering something else. Read more
