Service was good. Rice & beans were good. I had shredded beef tacos and the shredded beef was a liquified mush! Very... difficult to eat? imagine strained beef baby food tacos. I?m just wondering how long you have to cook it for it to get thatway? I would?ve been fine had they just told me they were out of shredded beef. My wife had enchiladas and she liked them. Wehad a tamale appetizer that was good. Third time eating here and each time was just okay? probably won?t go back a forth time. Read more
My father got carryout fish fry and it was good. Coleslaw was unique and quite good, fries were also good. Would eat here again.
Surprise! Mexican restaurants are EVERYWHERE, but this one does it right. The menu will have all of the items you have found... on the menu elsewhere. These folks just seem to care about each plate and making sure it is great. The ingredients are fresher,the sauces are excellent, and the spicing is balanced. Our service has always been very freindly and attentive without beingoverbearing. Balanced. So it may look and feel like just another Mexican place, but these folks do it much better! Read more
We love the food, margaritas and the staff! We go on a regular basis and even got to know the owners what are always there... working and really nice! I wish the outdoor seating was open but it sounds like it was closed due to staffing issues. Read more
We decided to try a local restaurant to help support & promote lical businesses. It makes it difficult when you enter a... restaurant/bar and immediately you are made to feel like you are not welcome. We sat ourselves in the bar area after waiting inthe dining room to be seated. We were greeted as if it was a burden to have us there. We asked if there were drink specials ora menu, the server just rolled his eyes said "no- we have margaritas." When we received our entrees, not very good. What Iwitnessed as other customers walked in they were told they stop serving at 8:15 & they close at 9. I saw customers turned awayand made to feel uncomfortable. I would imagine that the owners need to revisit their business plan. The experience left a badtaste in my mouth. All puns intended. The food was good. We didn't see anything on the menu with regular enchilada sauce. I had tomatillo sauce on my enchiladas,... which was okay, but I prefer enchilada sauce. The waiter wasn't super attentive. We asked for chips and salsa twice. We askedfor water too, and my husband ended up going up to the bar to get it. Read more
