The food is delicious, the different BBQ sauces were fun. I had the dirty tots and brisket tacos, both were epic.
The food was really great. I ordered the brisket tacos ???? superb! The service was a little slow but the two waitresses were... doing a great job handling a large crowd. The food came out pretty quickly. It just took a little bit for the bill. But oursever was in the middle of taking a large tables order. So it was understandable. But the wait at the end was definitely worthwhile for the great food. I will definitely go back. Read more
Husband and I stopped in from out of town, and we?re so pleased. KayLeigh helped us pick off the menu with excellent... recommendations and a happy attitude! She insured all our needs were met with drinks and was very personable!! Read more
As a vegetarian I admit this was probably an odd choice for us, HOWEVER there were options for us AND the dirty tots are worth... the trip alone. I loved those. We also tried the South Western salad and Beets salad (both good). We got a dessert waffle andsome nice drinks. But the best part was being able to enjoy all of this outside in the social district for the summer! Read more
This is pretty darn good barbeque. I got the 2-meat plate with pulled pork, brisket, seasoned green beans, and sweet potato... mash. I also tried the fresh squeezed lemonade. The lemonade was delicious and SWEET so fair warning if you tend to like yourson the tart side. The sweet potato mash was really good but I could have done without the pecan topping as it didn?t really addanything to it. The green beans had onion, bacon, a just a hint of vinegar and were wonderful. Brisket was a good blend of leanand fatty and was tasty, but just a touch dry. The pulled pork was my least favorite item but was still tasty. I really enjoyedthe cornbread waffle as it had great texture; not too dry, not too moist, not too sweet. It was a perfect companion for themeats. For service, it was quick so that was nice. And while I didn?t have any problems, I did feel they were a bit curt. Alittle warmth and welcome would have made all the difference to really put this over the too. Read more
With a little work this would be a 5-Star experience. First, the food was FANTASTIC! My wife and I brought our 4 kids and... everyone like the food and drinks. The only feedback I have is that for first time guest it was very confusing. There were nosigns for ?seat yourself? or ?wait to be seated?, we sat down and it took us about 10 minutes to figure out that we had to go tothe counter to order then were directed to get drinks at the bar. We were told ?we don?t have diet cola, we have xyz soda? butwe were not told the flavors?..it was all very confusing. If there were signs or a sheet at each table explaining how to orderand a drink menu it would have been a much less frustrating introduction. Over-all, now that we know how to order and what toexpect we will visit again. Read more
We waited for a while to get service. When it came my chicken was tough and chewy. They did remake it with the same result.... Pulled pork and brisket were great. They seemed understaffed and frazzled. We sat next to two dirty tables the entire time weate. The staff was friendly and were trying. I just don?t know that I will be rushing back over there. I heard they were hosting America's Best Restaurant. So, I came over to be on TV lol. I normally go to the location in Grand... Haven inside The Grand Armory, but they have more options at this location. I got a chicken sandwich and smoked apples. Irarely eat apples, but wanted to try something I didn't normally get. It was delicious! The chicken was perfectly cooked. Myfriend got their sweet potato Quesadilla with a side of Mac. The Mac and cheese was delicious. I rarely like Mac fromrestaurants. I don't think they ever cook it properly. This Mac had good flavour, but I do with it was baked to have a littlemore of a crust and char on top. Read more
