I've eaten at several different boomerang restaurants, this by far is my least favorite. Yesterday alone, the food was mediocre... and the service was terrible. I can honestly say I will never go back to that boomerang location again. I hate to leaveboomerang a bad review because normally they're wonderful place to eat and just sit and relax and enjoy yourself but theboomerang on West okmulgee in Muskogee Oklahoma is below sub par. I was so excited to go to Boomarang as it had been a few years since my last visit to OK.I went two days ago. This location was... a little more cluttered than the previous one I ate at, but no big deal. My husband ordered the chicken strip sandwich, friesand a tea. I had a burger, fries, and a tea as well. Everything tasted great, but I was a little thrown off by the ketchup in atea pitcher on the counter, I used to work in a restaurant and that seemed like a big health department ?no no?. Yesterdaymorning I woke up around 4am throwing up profoundly and was also going #2. At first I didn?t think I had food poisoning, untilmy husband started going #2 and used the toilet about 9 times by noon. I myself couldn?t stop throwing up until about 10pm lastnight. I know it came from here because this was the only place we both ate at and we ate separately for dinner. Will not bereturning back to this location or any in the future. Read more
Boomerang is exactly what every diner should be. A quaint place where the staff seems to know everyone who walks through the... door, a waitress with the perfect personality for her job, and good food fast. I had the ham & cheese omelet and it was theperfect portion with crispy hash browns and toast. I do prefer cubed ham instead of sliced but no matter. My 2 friends i wasdining with had breakfast as well and all our orders were perfect and tasty. We were checked on by the super-efficient waitressand enjoyed out meal. They have a drive through and you can order online for pickup but I heard people phoning in orders andeven placing orders in the drive thru. They have lots of cute kitschy stuff on the walls and even a coloring page on the backof the menu that these 3 adults enjoyed. Will definitely stop back when in the area, it was exactly what we were looking for. Read more
Too much food for the price. $9 and I couldn't eat it all I'm not saying the food was bad quite the contrary. You want to eat... more but it is filling. And last the wait staff are friendly but like ever restaurant you go to they will ask you if everythingis good right as you take a bite. Read more
I just got here and was welcomed with a beautiful smile and a warm "hello". I was immediately seated at a clean booth. This is... my first time here and the prices are slightly lower than expected. Egg yokes are perfectly runny yet the whites are fullycooked. Best bacon I have tasted in a while. Hashbrowns were properly prepared. Refils on time. The ticket is already on thetable waiting on me to finish, instead of me being held hostage while I wait for the bill. Did I mention the waitress isbeautiful? 5 stars. I shall return. Read more
